Photo is incorrect

edit

The photo shown is not Meav. It is a photo of Lisa Kelly, another member of the Celtic Woman. --Rhalim 03:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, that's Meav. I have the CD. A Jamestown Defender, March 18, 2007. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.231.11.11 (talkcontribs) 15:05, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
This photo of Meav appears on the Gallery page at her Website. 76.21.8.213 (talk) 17:38, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Anon, that's not the same picture the OP is talking about. The current one was released by the official website under a license to use on Wikipedia. Though, the editor (admin, actually) who uploaded it really should have had the webmaster file an OTRS ticket giving permission. Huntster (t@c) 22:08, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

This photo is definitely Meav. I emailed her publicist and requested that they provide a photograph of Meav released under Wikipedia's requirements, and they sent me this image. Cheers! bd2412 T 22:12, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Personal info

edit

I read that Meav recently had a baby in 2005. Didn't know she was even married. Bios never give any status or date of birth which would be interesting to know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.2.240.114 (talkcontribs) 08:23, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, this article is sorely lacking in terms of personal information. I hope to be able to include some of this soon. -- Huntster T • @ • C 16:08, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Celticjourney.jpg

edit

Image:Celticjourney.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:25, 2 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Languages she sings in

edit

Erm... does she sing in 'Generic Gaelic' or does she sing in Irish? Because save for the situation in which she has songs in, say Manx, Welsh or Breton, then 'English, Irish, French and Latin' makes more sense than 'English, Gaelic (which I see is the generic term for Goidelic Languages), French and Latin'. Or if you wanna have it this way, have it at least say Gaelige... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alzwded (talkcontribs) 21:14, 14 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
