This article is absolutely awful. Maybe I'll help out, but one thing is clear: this article doesn't at all touch on her long career in fashion or what she's actually remembered for: being an exciting, by-the-horns kind of woman. Why on earth is there more about her failed acting stints than all of this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.127.84.174 (talk) 08:35, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Questions edit

Did Ms. Hutton:

  • Convert to Roman Catholicism?
  • Become friends with Camille Paglia?
  • Allow Richard Avedon to photograph her squatting to pee on a beach?
  • Relish talking about this when Time or Newsweek did a cover story on her in the 1970s?132.181.160.42 (talk) 08:49, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Does Lauren Hutton spend time in Santa Barbara, CA? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.166.188.203 (talk) 21:22, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Pat Chamburs / fashion career. edit

I agree with Special Contributer 69.127.84.174 that this article gives her fashion career short shrift. At the top of her game, she was seen everywhere and had a high degree of facial recognition.

In the Early Life section, it says that Hutton moved to New York City, then New Orleans, with "former Tampa disc jockey Pat Chamburs". Then, in the Career section, he's gone. It appears that this was a serious relationship - how long did it last? did she marry him? did she drop him? did he drop her? did he die?

Women Divers Hall of Fame edit

There is a Lauren Hutton who was inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame in 2007 as a "Conservationist, Scuba Advocate", who appears to be the same person (there is a photo). I don't know of any other sources to confirm, but unless their is reason not to do so, I will add some content to this effect. It would appear that she was scuba diving since the 1960s.
