Song should be under career section

edit

Lara's song "I Won't Back Down" should be under the career section. It charted and earned money, so it doesn't belong in the personal section. 50.231.37.122 (talk) 20:07, 8 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

It should also mention the Cease and Desist letter from Tom Petty's estate regarding use of the song in campaigns.

Did that cease and desist letter refer to Lara's cover or just his version? Was Lara's decision to cover a song a response to the cease and desist letter? This would be more relevant information to include when discussing Lara's version of the song. 2601:985:880:E6B0:CC78:436D:71AE:2F09 (talk) 16:55, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

The “received poorly” statement seems politically motivated

edit

Logically inconsistent to say song received poorly and yet was in top 10 of Billboard Charts. The “received poorly” statement seems politically motivated. 2600:1007:B0A0:E178:A8D4:13E4:62D7:5166 (talk) 14:11, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I hope researchers use machine learning to rank and illustrate the politically motivated slant across Wikipedia. dmode (talk) 03:18, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Why is this comment on here? Why is Wikipedia allowing such blatant bias? Why does it matter what Colbert thinks? Is he a music critic? What are his qualifications to judge music? Why can't I read an article about a conservative without hearing about what some unhinged liberal thinks about them? Take this off now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:985:880:E6B0:CC78:436D:71AE:2F09 (talk) 16:51, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
