Tsar Nicholas II edit

The article states that "Sixteen of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia's Borzois were brought to England to participate in Crufts in 1892...". However, Nicholas did not become Tsar until 1894. Perhaps the dogs belonged to Nicholas's father, Alexander III? Jrt989 (talk) 19:26, 3 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's an interesting point. The dogs could well have belonged to his father, although the source specifically mentions Nicholas II - I'm wondering if their source simply mentioned source and they picked the wrong one, or if it was in fact Nicholas II prior to becoming Tsar and they called him Tsar rather than Crown Prince (or similar). A very interesting point. I'll have a dig around and see if I can find anything out further. Miyagawa (talk) 17:19, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
