Reviews

Added most of these. Nice to see that apart from the ANN ones the series actually got positive reviews! Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 09:30, 26 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Story arcs

edit

Are there any news articles that name these groupings of the light novel as official story arcs? -AngusWOOF (talk) 01:30, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

OK, I found them in the afterword section for light novel Volume 12. -AngusWOOF (talk) 20:42, 15 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Third season

edit

This was posted on ANN just now. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-06-16/high-school-dxd-light-novels-gets-3rd-anime-season Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 15:01, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay thanks for finding the source. -AngusWOOF (talk) 15:03, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Controversy category: How much is enough to categorize?

edit

Does the article really belong in Category:Obscenity controversies or Category:Obscenity controversies in television? It was classified as objectionable and therefore banned in New Zealand, but there was no protest or big backlash typically associated with such a controversy. And in Japan and worldwide there are the usual censored for broadcast and uncensored/uncut versions. You can easily pick any country or group that would object to such a show and ban it. The cat is inappropriate and I have removed it. It's not a "controversy", it was just straight up "banned" in the relatively minor market of New Zealand without public outcry for containing objectionable content. And by "banned", I mean refused classification, as in the product becomes undistributable in the country for publishers. You're not going to get fined or undergo criminal proceedings because you own a copy. Satellizer (´ ・ ω ・ `) 10:15, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Anime season additions

edit

Okay, let's try to hold off adding anything regarding a sequel/new season for the anime until a reliable source makes it available. As any attempts in doing so will violate WP:CRYSTAL and WP:NOR. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:03, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ishibumi's blog as a source?

edit

Hi. I discovered that Ichiei Ishibumi has a blog. Should we use it as a reliable source with respect to the guidelines at Wikipedia:Verifiability#Self-published_or_questionable_sources_as_sources_on_themselves? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 01:33, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Don't see why not, though I generally consider myself pretty lax on this sort of thing Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 03:43, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fourth Season Producer

edit

Having recently been told by an editor that I used an unreliable source I decided to do some digging. In no way shape or form anywhere on the internet does it say TNK will be animating season 4. Even on crunchyroll, they have stated Passione will be animating the series. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/01/04/produo-da-quarta-temporada-de-highschool-dxd-muda-de-estdio

If i cant update it with valid information, why is potentially false information being kept on the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.116.67 (talk) 14:33, 8 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

First, you were citing a blog post as your source. Second, of this most recent link, I don't see the article on the English side, meaning it was likely pulled do to factual errors. Japanese studios are much more likely to watch English coverage over Portuguese coverage and notify publishers of errors. And give that the Portuguese article is also based on at fan blog post, it is very much likely the case or it simply didn't pass the fact checking of the English side. —Farix (t | c) 17:04, 8 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Category

edit

This article is in the Ecchi anime and manga category; however, the article itself doesn't mentions anything on ecchi. Shouldn't this be added? --2001:8003:210E:B700:D19D:252A:7091:E99F (talk) 12:00, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Fourth season's fate sealed

edit

The official livestream of the Fantasia Bunko 2017 panel on Niconico has announced that the fourth season will be titled Hero and is to be broadcast early next year and ANN has already posted the news on it. This gives us high hopes for new information, but time will tell. We should also use the Niconico stream as a source since this is where the information is coming from. Given the new developments, we may need to make some adjustments to the article if necessary. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 07:34, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

new page for list of manga vol.

There is separate page for list of novel then don't you think so we need to create new page for "List of High school DxD Manga"--14.139.122.120 (talk) 19:33, 15 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
