peer review
editthe article looks informative but I think you could add more detail to it like historical background of superb bird of paradise and talk about it evolution perspective like what makes to live in Indonesia? are there variety of them talk about each of them Anwaramna15 (talk) 17:15, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
Species
editIt is incorrect to say a new species discovered in 2018. Rather, the species was split into three in 2017. The three new species were all described many years ago; until 2017 they were considered subspecies. Article amended to reflect this. Ptilinopus (talk) 21:13, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

Superb Bird-of-Paradise → Superb bird-of-paradise – Move to lowercase vernacular name per typical conventions. However, given the number of names included in the lead, it's unclear to me (as I have not researched it), if it is appropriate to place this article at a vernacular name or a scientific name. Hyperik ⌜talk⌟ 04:10, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
- Move to greater lophorina. Bird species take the (downcased) vernacular name promulgated by the IOC as article titles. The IOC name is Greater Lophorina. Plantdrew (talk) 21:06, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Photographs
editAre the photographs in this article really of the Greater lophorina, since some of the photographs are also in the Vogelkop lophorina article? Catfurball (talk) 17:12, 16 September 2024 (UTC)
