Studio
editWhy does the name of the studio keep getting changed from "Abbey Road Studios" to "Apple Studios"? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 18:26, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
re Studio
editFanny Hill was recorded at Apple Studios, 3 Savile Row from 4th through 18th December 1971 - not at Abbey Road Studios; two different studios both affiliated with The Beatles and Apple Corps Flight714 (talk) 08:44, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
- See thread above - what is your source of information? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:30, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
- It's right at the back of the cover of the original vinyl.Besides, there are links to two different lists at the Abbey Road Studios article, one that lists recordings by artists and one that lists recordings by year - Fanny not entered in either. As mentioned that would've been filed under the 1971 part, which it isn't , but cast an eye at the cover...Flight714 (talk) 03:58, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- -also in the info on f ex Amazon or discogs and in reviews like the one from REBEAT etc...Flight714 (talk) 04:16, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- and at www.fannyrocks.com a website that is pretty much a homepage for the band it is mentioned directly spoken in written down interviews with both Jean and Alice as well as in the section "About Fanny Godmothers of Women Who Rock". Flight714 (talk) 09:51, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Fanny Hill
editThis album seems to be very underrated considering when it was created. Very pop but also very progressive. Stands up still amongst music created today. I wonder who owns this music and rights now? 31.94.28.194 (talk) 11:44, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
- As the group were signed to Reprise Records, the copyright would still be owned by Warner Records, unless the group (particularly June Millington) bought the rights back - but we'd need a reliable source for that. And I think it's a great album, and what you'd get if you crossed the Beatles, the Stones and Abba, but my opinions don't mean anything when it comes to Wikipedia articles.
