I removed the entry 'Bicycle Drivetrain' because 1) it is mis-capitalized, 2) the description is wrong (it is NOT "a component in bicycle gearing"). There will likely be an article of that name (properly capitalized) soon, so I didn't replace it. Dmforcier (talk) 22:30, 24 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The draft EC REPPR^[1] (European Commission, Regulation environmental and propulsion performance requirements) has a new definition for Drive train which is distinct from power train. I'm not sure whether it should be added here or with the power train article or both.

(32) ‘drive train’ means the part of the powertrain after the output of the propulsion(s),

including the (torque converter) clutch(es), the transmission and its control, either a

drive shaft or belt drive or chain drive, the differentials, the final drive, and the driven

wheel tyre (radius);
