The grammar on this page is horrible, please fix.

Worst Game Ever?

edit

Should this be added to that article. This game got tons of horrible reviews! it is the worst game ever

ET would like to have a word with you.--93.130.252.211 (talk) 23:46, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sorry but ET was not nearly as bad as Jekyll and Hyde. ET was certainly not a good game, but also not the worst game around by far.

Mr. Hyde reaching the church

edit

How is it possible for Mr. Hyde to reach the church if the church is at the end of the 6th level, and Mr. Hyde always moves away from the end of the level? 71.63.88.166 17:05, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

The article doesn't make it particularly clear. I think what happens is that Mr. Hyde starts at the beginning of the first level, although everything is mirrored. If Mr. Hyde reaches the place where you currently are at with Mr. Jekyll, you die.

Though what I don't understand is how Mr. Hyde can ever reach the church, which is apparently what you need to do to get the alternate ending. If as soon as Hyde reaches Jekyll, the game ends, and as soon as Jekyll reaches the church, the game ends, then how can Hyde ever reach the church? Haemorrhage 23:14, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

When you reach the final level as Mr. Hyde you can go to an alternate place of the level and fight a boss, check the guide of this game in gamefaqs to know the details --189.129.182.61 (talk) 05:56, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not Part of WikiProject Nintendo

edit

"Also, please note that "game" articles are only included in this WikiProject if they are published by Nintendo. (1st and 2nd party.)"

Dr. Jekyll and Hr. Hyde was not published by Nintendo or by its 1st or 2nd parties, thus not a member of WikiProject Nintendo.

AVGN

edit

Wasn´t Simons quest the first game to be reviewed by the AVGN? This one wasn´t even a proper review until he remade it, he just warned everyone of how horribly shitty this game is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.130.152.44 (talk) 20:25, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Can you tell us why his review a spam, and not a reliable source? Then maybe we can trust you.--98.228.251.197 (talk) 21:53, 17 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Already explained in the edit summary. And whether or not you trust me is irrelevant, it was a group consensus and has been long enforced here. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 01:21, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ok, just helping out for future editors who are trying to add the AVGN review on that page so that way they know not to put it.--98.228.251.197 (talk) 21:20, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Why not mention AVGN. Most people that will ever visit the Wiki page on this game will probably do so after watching the AVGN reviews (2 of them actually). I think mentioning him is a bit more important that meantioning useless nonsense like "IGN ranked the cover art the third scariest cover art in gaming", like anyone cares what some guy was paid to say at IGN...

See above.Justin.Parallax (talk) 16:54, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Whether or not the AVGN is considered a legitimate critic is one thing, but the fact remains that AVGN is the biggest reason that most people today even know that this game exists. I think there should be a mention of the show somewhere on the page, as AVGN has had an undeniable impact on the game's reputation and lasting legacy, much moreso than IGN or any other "legitimate" review sites. 174.44.176.161 (talk) 14:34, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I too believe there should be a mention... But what I believe is irrelevant. Thing is, I haven't been able to find any reliable source stating that Jekyll and Hyde was notably reviewed by the Angry Video Game Nerd. We don't have the authority to decide whether this fact is notable and worth including - that's the job for our reliable sources. ~Mable (chat) 15:11, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

He revisited it twice, once to elaborate on the gameplay, and a second time to beat it so I believe that AVGN should be mentioned here, also for the same reasons as 174.44.176.161

I really don't understand why I've never been able to find sources for this. It just took me one Google search now, and the source is from 2014. Well, either way, it is finally in, so I think don't have to be as worried about it getting added in the review section anymore :p ~Mable (chat) 07:34, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Self published, mostly entertainment value. Not a meaningful reviewer. Harizotoh9 (talk) 18:47, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (video game)Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (video game) – Like the original novel there is no punctuation after Dr and Mr as we can see on the cover. What might look like punctuation after Dr is actually just the M rising up. 174.92.135.167 (talk) 14:52, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

The game seems to mostly have been ignored at the time of release. I don't see that many reviews. The game actually seems to have gotten more attention in the last decade and it has appeared on several "worst game ever" lists. It seems the internet has given this game more recognition than when it first came out. Harizotoh9 (talk) 04:01, 29 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
