Dante Bonfim Costa SantosDante (footballer) – He's the only Brazilian footballer referred to as "Dante". I was gonna go ahead and just move the page, but the last time I did that on a page regarding a notable person, there was a long debate about it. But again, the argument here is that it should be moved per WP:COMMONNAME. – Michael (talk) 20:23, 22 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Read my statement again. This is the only footballer who is referred to as "Dante". Just that. No last name. You get what I'm saying here? – Michael (talk) 16:51, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
You said he's the only Brazilian footballer, not the only footballer. -- 65.94.79.6 (talk) 23:07, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

IPA edit

Are you sure about the IPA-pronounciation [ˈdɐ̃tʃi]? That has no similarity at all to the original italian name Dante ... Why the "tʃ" (="ch") or "ʃ" (="sh") sound? Would it be possible to state a reference for that pronounciation hint? ThomasPusch (talk) 15:52, 5 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
