Personal Life edit

I find I can't make sense of this sentence in the Personal Life section:

"Jeanne Chauchoin envied her daughter's talents of art and acting, being difficult to last parent-child friendships with."

Can anyone clarify?

She lived through her daughter work such a relationship is not good for a long term mother - daughter relationship to last . Filmfan65 (talk) 19:05, 16 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

To the IP editor: You may want to review the guidelines for categorizing people by ethnicity, gender, religion, and sexuality to understand why your recent edits are contentious. One relevant snippet: "For a dead person, there must be a verified consensus of reliable published sources that the description is appropriate." Simply being the subject of rumors is not sufficient, nor is your (or any other editor's) personal opinion on the matter.PohranicniStraze (talk) 19:25, 29 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

I am confused as to how the fact that she drove a Lincoln Continental and a Ford Thunderbird, could be relevant in an article about a person in the acting arts. A significant portion of the article reads like your average Hollywood gossip magazine.

Sentence in the The early films, 1928-1934 section makes no sense. edit

The next to last sentence in this section makes no sense. The sentence reads "Her character to "hold man" (Chevalier again) might surpassed co-star Miriam Hopkins, according to an analyst." There is a footnote reference for this sentence, but I can not help thinking that the sentence is not quoted correctly from that source. Can anyone help? 204.122.26.61 (talk) 00:47, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
