Merge to I.O.I edit

The article should be merged/redirected to her group's "Members" section, she has zero individual work outside of her group, when (IF, since its just a speculation) she joins the newly formed girl group by her agency, then she will gain notabilty since according to the music notability rules, if a person has been a member of 2 different notable groups, it can have an individual article even with no solo acting / singing work, but for now she fails notability criteria. 86.58.36.145 (talk) 17:36, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

On July 10, 2017, Fantagio set the release date for a group Weki Meki upcoming album to August 8, 2017. So, Choi Yoo-jung will re-debut soon. Therefore, it seems to be need for an individual article after 8 August 2017.--110.70.57.195 (talk) 22:22, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Not really, the article was not redirected because she was inactive, but because she was not individually notable – notability, once achieved, is permanent and it doesnt matter if she is on hiatus or entirely quits the ent. industry, it would still be notable. And just by debuting in another group without any solo work would still not make her notable to have an article I guess. Snowflake91 (talk) 22:29, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Choi Yoo-jung released a single album "Flower, Wind and You" (꽃, 바람 그리고 너) with Jeon So-mi, Kim Chung-ha and DIA's Ki Hui-hyun in 2016. And she released a digital single "Rise and Fall" (흥망성쇠) with Golden Tambourine members in last year. Is this individual activity not to notable?--175.223.11.53 (talk) 22:09, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
How is this individual activity, this is a group collaboration and not a solo release. And this single didnt even charted on Gaon as far as I checked. Snowflake91 (talk) 22:18, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Change redirect edit

I propose to change redirect this page to Weki Meki, the group where she is currently a member after I.O.I finished their promotion. I don't have the changing right because only administrator can do that. Kenny htv (talk) 08:07, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Kenny htv, anyone can change the target of a redirect. Simply go to Choi Yoo-jung (singer) and edit the wikilink. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 12:36, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Finnusertop. I tried but I can't. I see only "Read", "View source" and "View history" on this page, no "Edit" part like other pages. And I also see this line in "View source" part: "This page is currently protected so that only administrators can edit it." Kenny htv (talk) 13:05, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Actually, you are correct, Kenny htv. I can't edit it either. I don't know why there is no protection template or even a maintenance category to that end on the page. I've pinged admins to help out with the edit. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 15:13, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Protected edit request on 6 June 2018 edit

Please change R from related topic to R from member. Not very nice to call a person a related topic. And add the following categories:

Please review this and if she's notable enough I'd like to make the article now. Lonedirewolf 09:15, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Done but I've messed up the history now. Going to fix it up ... — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 18:29, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
All sorted, I think. It's nice to retain all the relevant history of an article, as it gives attribution for your and others' edits, and allows others to see how the article developed. However in this case there was other unrelated history in your sandbox so I had to split it up. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 18:37, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
