naming issue re needed hatnote edit

I just created Carr's Landing which is a community in British Columbia. officially named "Carrs", and altered the Carr's redirect to include it, into a disambig; that formerly redirected only to Carrs-Safeway. It's unclear to me if this British company's name is linked to the North American food retail chain.Skookum1 (talk) 06:16, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

2021 logo change edit

The logo has changed again, it's no longer the city of Carlisle coat of arms (October 2021).

Flooding queries edit

The entry makes reference to "that same month" but doesn't identify what month is being referred to. A subsequent reference to the 6th December reads rather ambiguously as though it could be in 2016, although I'm sure it's meant to refer to 2015. Gwladys24 (talk) 11:35, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Palm oil edit

I used to like these but seeing Palm Oil as the third ingredient put me off them. Palm oil plantations are destroying critical tropical rainforests in Indonesia and Borneo. There are other crackers made without Palm Oil so they are the way to go. One earth. 70.18.12.22 (talk) 07:10, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tin Information edit

I found a Carrs of Carlisle LTD England tin in my mothers things. It has fruit pictured on the top of the tin; strawberries, grapes, etc. Then it has flowers and leaves around the bottom. Just wondering when it might have been created and what was in it.

Thankyou for any information you can provide. Susan Wright Susanwrighthar56@icloud.com 68.235.147.9 (talk) 05:37, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Carrs history edit

I have amended Carrs history as it stated the company left family hands in 1931, and that it became part it Cavenham Foods. That could not be possible as 1. Cavenham did not exist in 1931 and Carrs became Cavenham Food after James Goldsmith merged all his recent purchases into Cavenham. 2. Theodore Carr died in 1931 but his brother Harold replaced him.
