Roman AND Byzantine? edit

This phrasing is misleading, as the Eastern Roman Empire (or "Byzantine", as some still insist on incorrectly calling it) was not some upstart pretender that came to power after the backwater provincial Western half fell in 476 CE, but rather had existed for centuries as the unarguably more powerful and developed half of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire did not fall when Odoacer deposed Romulus Augustus any more than the United States would fall if Puerto Rico conquered Florida. I'm changing the wording to "Roman imperial". 96.237.59.92 (talk) 03:00, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Requested move 2 April 2017 edit

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Moved. First off, I'd like to apologise for the early close, I honestly did not see this discussion until it was too late, and for that reason if anyone disagrees with my closure or move, feel free to hit me up and I'll see what I can do about undoing it. Anyway, I've moved the page to the lowercase version of the name: Caesarea Golf Club. @MShabazz: I didn't delete the other page, I simply swapped the two pages using the round-robin tool, the history is still intact. I tried to move the page in keeping with the above discussion but for some bizarre reason it created a category, not a new page. I don't know how to fix it...If anyone can help, that would be great.--Geewhiz (talk) 06:40, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
Only an administrator can move the article to Caesarea Golf Club. I moved the page back to its old name because it's not a category. Since there doesn't seem to be any objection to the shorter name, I'll ask for an administrator to perform the move. — MShabazz Talk/Stalk 11:53, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • I added two sources to the article, how can i remove the message saying: "This article does not cite any sources"...?
