Problem with terms in office listing edit

The page states he was preceeded by Jack Straw and followed by Norman Fowler - but with no mention of in which job! Smurfmeister (talk) 08:38, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

It was Shadow Home Secretary. There was a small problem with the formatting in the infobox; it's fixed now. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 21:45, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Resignation as transport secretary edit

According to the Newbury bypass page, Mawhinney resigned as Secretary of State for Transport immediately after announcing that this road was to be built. Along with the M11 link road protest, the Newbury bypass protest was a continual high-profile media story in the UK during this period: do other editors agree that Mawhinney's ministerial role, or at the very least his motive for resigning from a key government position, is significant enough to warrant mention? ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 10:02, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
