Merger proposal

I propose that Dutch letter be merged into Banket (food). Banket (food) seems to be less prone to misundertandings and the article is much older. The merger could also be done the other way round. Both articles appear to cover the same subject. --mach 🙈🙉🙊 08:39, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

• I have no opinion on the name. As far as I'm concerned the subject is Banketletter, but how (and whether) that should be translated is above my pay grade. Yes, there is such a thing as "banket", meaning puff pastry filled with almond paste, and its most frequent application is in letter shape (as the song goes, "een letter van banket", "a letter made from banket").     • @The Banner: I feel that you're downplaying the significance of the food on U.S. soil. Sure, it originated in the Netherlands, but the Dutch letter in the U.S. has received a great deal of coverage.
