  •   Created in userspace and then moved to mainspace and nominated within the appropriate timeframe. An entire county having 50% of its population Amish is interesting enough a hook. I'm linking the county in the hook as uncommon enough to benefit from one (it's not NYC or London). It's the NPR source in the article that says that Holmes County is 50% Amish. Neutrally written, QPQ provided. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:31, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

User "Elli" Rolled back Ohio Amish Country to Amish in Ohio

edit

The User @Elli: rolled back this information supposedly because of cut and paste; I demand that you put this page back to Ohio Amish Country, as this is the most widely known term for the Amish people there. Aearthrise (talk) 18:45, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Aearthrise Can I suggest you use the requested move process? This is not a non-controversial move and would benefit from discussion. Elli (talk | contribs) 19:14, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Route marker

Amish Buggy Byway

I removed the image at right from the article. This is actually the sign for a different "Amish Byway" in Minnesota. Apparently the uploader confused the two and plagiarized a website about Minnesota route markers at the same time. Unfortunately, information about this shield's association with Ohio has been proliferating in various places, including OpenStreetMap. Minh Nguyễn 💬 22:17, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Mxn: I have renamed the file on Commons to hopefully avoid confusion in the future. Elli (talk | contribs) 01:57, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Amish Travel Study

Ohio DOT, published 2020 Perhaps this could be useful, if not for transportation then for population. Mapsax (talk) 23:55, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ohio's Amish CountryOhio Amish Country – A more uniform page name, as the Ohio Amish Country is known better as Ohio Amish Country rather than Ohio's Amish Country. Aearthrise (talk) 15:20, 15 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
