Shouldnt the genre be post-grunge?

-FishNET

I don't think so. Their grunge influences were obvious in their earlier albums, but its more or less gone now. Godawful023

I don't think "Corporate Rock" is an appropriate title for the genre of the album, as it is not a genre of music but a label applied to bands like Nickelback for being commercial music. No band would ever call their genre "Corporate Rock." I've only heard 3 songs from this album, so I don't know what the correct genre should be, probably "Hard Rock" but definitely not "Corporate Rock." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lol9000 (talkcontribs) 04:27, August 22, 2007 (UTC).

Does received radio airplay mean first time it received radio airplay? And if so is there a source for this? I haven't seen this sort of thing on other album pages so I'm removing it for now unless more detail can be added. Threepounds 04:18, 2 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

How has the album sold 4,788,000 copies as of September 02, 2006 when it is only August 26, 2006?--K8TEK 08:43, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

And again: how can there be album sales as of 7th October when it's only 30th September? Prophaniti 11:06, 30 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

AND again, there's no possible way for there to be albulm sales on November 11th, 2006 or 18th, seeing as today is November 9th.

Fair use rationale for Image:Nickelback rockstar.jpg edit

Image:Nickelback rockstar.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:30, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Worldwide certifications - Canada edit

Someone wrote:

Canada: 00000000000000000000000000000,000 copies (5x Platinum)

I will change it into 500,000 copies.

When did 500,000 copies sold become 5x platinum? 500,000 used to be gold, 1 million sold was certified platinum . Did I miss something? Lgore69 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lgore69 (talkcontribs) 16:45, 13 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's correct for the USA, but for smaller countries, the platinum figure is less. Also, I've removed the worldwide albums sales figure from this section as there is no verifiable figures for this - the website previously used as a reference clearly states that it is an rough estimate. The 5 albums that have spent its 101st week in the top 10 on the chart edit

These albums should be listed since this is a monumental occasion since there have been 5 other acts that have had albums in the top 10 after 101 weeks. Thank you BravesFan2006 16:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
