Article Style

This article is a bit too wordy for me, which is why I've added the {{essay-entry}} template. See A1 and A66 for good examples of how a roads article should be laid out, and not simply a narrative of all its waypoints, which is not useful for an encyclopedia. I'm intending to work through it slowly, and have had an initial go at the first section to Warrington. A similar job was required on the A6 article. Assistance welcome! Dave.Dunford (talk) 16:50, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Manchester -> Ashopton?

Considering the detail in this one, there's a sizeable (25 mile) chunk missing between Manchester city centre and Ashopton/Ladybower - missing out the run out of Manchester, through Hyde, Glossop, and into the Peak District on the Snake Pass - one of the best bits (I cycled it today :D ) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.109.14.131 (talk) 22:44, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
