Conte participated to the 44th G7 summit. During the two days he had bilateral meetings with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, the British Prime Minister Theresa May and with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe.

The summit was among the longest ones in history.
