editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Creation science appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Aunt Entropy (talk) 17:20, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
To be honest, I don't think the current reverted article is neutral either. Why can't creation scientists put across their own scientific understanding without some anti-creationist rewriting it in a mocking fashion? Surely people who believe that this planet isn't a chemical accident hav a right to explain why they think that?Zohre6 (talk) 17:06, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Fellowship of Faith for Muslims
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Fellowship of Faith for Muslims, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 06:21, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
I believe I have improved the article adequately to justify its inclusion in Wikipedia. Can you let me know what else is required, or missing to help it meet the required standard? ThanksZohre6 (talk) 17:09, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Fellowship of Faith for Muslims. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The template clearly said do not remove if you created the article yourself. Doug Weller talk 17:35, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

2nd warning about removing maintenance templates
editI told you about this before. There is still too much reliance on primary and self-publishes sources and sources still do not meet our criteria for notability at WP:NORG. Kitab's website says that they provide books, not that they publish them. This article looks as though it could be on their website, not an encyclopedia. I also noticed that it suggested in Wikipedia's own words that Muslims would be blessed if they converted.
Articles really aren't meant to be mission statements. If that's the best that can be done then perhaps it should be nominated for deletion. Doug Weller talk 15:04, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
What else can be improved?
editThank you for paying attention to this article. I can confirm that Interserve-Kitab was the publisher of the book in question in the UK but FFM did publish it in Canada. Unfortunately I am at a loss as to what is still biased toward a Christian worldview. Do you have anysuggestions? Others are of course able to add to it or improve it. But I thought I had removed any reference that might imply wikipedia supports the views of FFM members. Zohre6 (talk) 08:01, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

editPlease do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Tower of Babel. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 06:21, 16 September 2019 (UTC) Bonadea, please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Tower of Babel. The use of the word 'Myth' at the very beginning of that article is judgemental, unnecessary and offensive.
- No, origin myth is the correct term, for three reasons: it is the most descriptive and neutral term, it is used in all reliable sources, and there is an overwhelmingly strong consensus among Wikipedia's editors to use it. That some people believe that the word "myth" has a different meaning than it actually has is not a reason for us to use misleading wording. (And that a very small number of people think that this particular myth could be true doesn't mean that Wikipedia should present is as being possibly correct - in fact, that makes it even more important that we stick to what reliable sources say. Please see WP:FRINGE and WP:FALSEBALANCE.) --bonadea contributions talk 08:12, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

editImage source problem with File:Welshreg capbadge.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Welshreg capbadge.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:32, 3 February 2021 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. editYour recent editing history at Goliath shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 10:15, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
