February 2021 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to User:Dissident93, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Don't change other people's user pages or break their userboxes -- ferret (talk) 03:06, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Grammarly edit

Your edits suggest you are using a tool such as Grammarly to edit and change grammar and syntax. Please stop immediately. Grammarly is not compatible with Wikipedia's Wikitext and makes inappropriate changes to code, templates, category and file links. Continuing to edit with Grammarly or whatever similar tool you're using will eventually lead to a block as the edits are disruptive. -- ferret (talk) 03:14, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Understood. Zdubzxx (talk) 22:56, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I see you continue to use Grammarly and introduce errors into articles. This is your final warning to stop. -- ferret (talk) 18:07, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
[This] edit was obviously made using Grammarly or similar software and is egregiously incorrect. Please stop doing this or I will report you for disruptive editing. Wallnot (talk) 23:56, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

My Bad, it was a simple mistake that is easily reverted. While editing, I have been trying to watch out for my false corrections. Zdubzxx (talk) 00:00, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

the way to avoid “false corrections” is by not using Grammarly at all. Please stop doing so. Wallnot (talk) 00:31, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I keep it on for personal use. Zdubzxx (talk) 01:15, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Then don’t use it to correct Wikipedia. Wallnot (talk) 01:41, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Cameron Kinley edit

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Cameron Kinley has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://navysports.com/sports/football/roster/cameron-kinley/17964. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review Eagles 24/7 (C) 17:20, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Zdubzxx edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Zdubzxx, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hayleez (talk) 15:01, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have restored your userpage, as the above criteria for speedy deletion did not apply in this instance. Eagles 24/7 (C) 16:06, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

December 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Gab4gab. I noticed that you recently removed content from Kirkwood High School without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. April 2022 edit

Hello. Your recent edit to Butler High School (Vandalia, Ohio) appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Meters (talk) 19:35, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I think he is notable because he is participating in a National event. And yes, an article should be created about him.

Disambiguation link notification for August 13 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mississinawa Valley High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ansonia High School. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Megan Booher moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Megan Booher, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
