Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Seine-et-Marne, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Christian Jacob (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

French constituency articles

edit

Hello Yaffles, and thanks for creating so many articles on French constituencies. One small issue I had with them is that the templates you're using only navigate between a small number of constituencies in the department or region. Instead I've created a template that shows all the constituencies ({{French National Assembly constituencies}}). Could you add that to articles instead? This will allow readers to navigate between all 577 constituencies, plus any abolished ones. Cheers, Number 57 16:38, 24 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I've noticed you've added the text "it elects one MP using the first past the post election system with a run-off" to the constituency articles. This is inherently incorrect, as a first-past-the-post system does not have a runoff. It should say "it elects one MP using the two-round system, with a run-off if no candidate receives over 50% of the vote in the first round." Could you correct all the articles you've added this to? If this error is present in all your articles, you might want to use WP:AWB to make the changes. Cheers, Number 57 23:41, 15 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Also, a few other minor errors you're making in every article:
  1. Number formatting: English numbers should be formatted as 84,001 rather than 84001
  2. References should go immediately after punctuation, not leaving a space between the full stop and the reference
  3. Your links are using old election article format (e.g. French legislative election, 1988). Could you make the links in new articles to the correct titles (e.g. 1988 French legislative election).
Cheers, Number 57 23:43, 15 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Laurent Furst moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Laurent Furst, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 21:23, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Overlinking

edit

Please remember not to link years in en.WP articles. We also don't usually link more than once, and I sometimes see three links within five seconds to the same item (usually the department). Finally: "Historical representation" without the R in a title. Thanks. Tony (talk) 02:30, 10 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Presidential elections

edit

Hi, you reverted my removal of the presidential election results at Bray-Dunes. I proposed removing these data at WT:FRANCE#Presidential election results per commune, because Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information and these data are not very relevant for the topic of this article (the town Bray-Dunes). If you disagree, please say so at WT:FRANCE. Markussep Talk 10:41, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
