September 2010 edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to The Big Book (Alcoholics Anonymous). You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Alcoholics Anonymous. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. PhilKnight (talk) 03:05, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Alcoholics Anonymous. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Coffeepusher (talk) 15:32, 12 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

January 2022 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Another Life (2019 TV series) have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 01:47, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

3RR edit

  Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Atlantis, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. You have been asked to argue your case on the Talk Page, not in the edit summary. You now appear to be initiating an edit war with your triple reversion, behaviour which can get your account blocked. September 2022 edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Atlantis. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Donald Albury 16:06, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

  Hello, I'm Philipnelson99. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Graham Hancock—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in pseudoscience and fringe science. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Looking at this talk page, I think this editor has had enough chances, one more edit like this last unsourced one and they’re out. Doug Weller talk 21:48, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
