Peer Review: Margaret Oliphant
editHello WackyJacky710!
While viewing your page I noticed that your talk pages username is WackyJacky without the 710, I am not sure how that occured or how it may be fixed but I wanted to make sure you were aware of that so you can make the appropriate actions to get that error fixed.
Your contributions to Margaret Oliphants article made 16:59, 23 February 2018 under Critical reception were very well done. I appreciate that you found contradicting opinions from other writers to show how some enjoy her works and others not. “Opinions on Oliphant's work are split...” is a very well worded start to the paragraph it sets the mood that you’re sharing bias information from two sides. In order to continue to improve the article I would suggest adding more opinions and quotes from more modern writers.
From your contribution, I realized that I could add professional opinions about the products sold Fenty Beauty to the article and also while creating the article for the Nike Pro Hijab I could also add quotes from the wearers of the particular hijabs.
Job well done!

Peer Review
editYou did a great job with the Elizabeth Boyd contributions! It's so difficult to write about these important authors but I think you did a great job adding what you did. I appreciated that you cleaned up the lead section to make it flow a lot better and take out some of the filler words. I also love that you added a bibliography section to really show her works and attribute them back to her. It's really interesting that she wrote in such different mediums-I had no idea. I think you've done really valuable work to making her more visible and getting her alittle more credit for her hard (and good) work! I would just encourage you to keep pushing and seeing if there are more categories or internal links you can add to make her a little bit easier to find and for her to pop up more quickly in searches for 18th century writers. But, great job with this! -- Blanketburrito (talk) 16:54, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
editWomen in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
