Reason for rejection not understood edit

I had submitted the article with good references and the artist is also well known done several shows and also won the prestigious awards and also references were from the good news web like Times of India and the articles published were solely on the artist it was not just passing mentions but, I did not get exactly the reason for the rejection of my article. If, you can explain exactly what you guys need it will be very helpful. Below was the comment from your end: "This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any re-submission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia." --Vishakha2588 (talk) 12:54, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
