Errors in page names

Hi and Welcome, if you make a mistake in a page name you don't have to re-create it under the right name the page can be corrected by using the page move feature at Wikipedia:Moving a page as you will see that I have done at Lal Fernando (note we don't have ranks or titles like Dr on the page names - you can say that at the start of the article). Theroadislong hey, since he worked during 1973-2005, it's bit harder to find an article about him as a source. But my source (1) direct you to prove that he was a former official in Sri Lanka Army. Moreover, source (2) photo illustrates the passing out which his name includes as Cdt. L.L.A. Fernando.

We are not looking for proof. Wikipedia summarises what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a topic, showing how it meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable topic. Theroadislong (talk) 07:31, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
