Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Quan Yi Fong, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Taiwanese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Fifty & Fabulous(TV Series)

edit

Hello Unknown152438,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Fifty & Fabulous(TV Series) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Want a helping hand for Star Awards 2019?

edit

Hi there, Sculture65 here,

Thanks for creating the Star Awards 2019 article here, although I also really want to create an article if time permits, but oh well.

I do not need any introduction, but I had made some improvements for the article because of consistency and need of sources. And for your info, I was also the one I made improvements for the past Star Awards ceremony (from 2006 to 2018) along with adding missing information (such as presenters and performers, in order, and awards) based on sources (mostly the Chinese Wikipedia and Toggle) under my disposal.

For your info, I was also the one who did both GeTai Challenge (both Season 1 and 2), as well as the SPOP SING! article pages (Both also received said award nominations) because I want to learn (to be honest, i'm new to Wikipedia under two years of experience). I noticed that you did drafts for Singaporean dramas, but I will like to help out if my time permits.

And I do suggest the article Star Awards 2019 should be renamed and redirect to Star Awards 25 due to the subtitle, as like how the 2014 ceremony does (Star Awards 20), but it's up to you.

Cheers, and happy Chinese New Year! (Sculture65 (talk) 08:35, 9 February 2019 (UTC))Reply

Past Star Awards articles

edit

If you are intending to do some maintenance article for the past Star Awards article (2005 and prior; I have already done 2006 to 2018, although I might make some typography mistakes), here are the appropriate color fonts (note that these colors does not overlap from the past Star Awards, and I chose those colors according to the title card (respective years) based on resources found) for the display based on the respective years (based on the title logo):

1994
1995
1996
1997
1998
1999
2000
2001
2002
2003
2004
2005

I do my best for getting the required picture for the 2019 one, in the meantime. Thanks! (Sculture65 (talk) 10:57, 9 February 2019 (UTC))Reply

File:StarAwards25Title.jpg

edit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Help us for the past Star Awards past ceremonies

edit

Hello, Unknown152438, it's me again.

I noted about the changes and maintenance made in the articles, but lately, I have done some checks and cleanup and now I recently done the Star Awards 2002 ceremony cleanup. Only eight more to go (1994 to 2001), and I need your help to help me do the same in improving the article to make sure it is similar to the one I did the cleanup from 2002 onwards (see this for your info). Please help us out, while I will return in rechecking any mistakes made in prior edits.

It turns out that the Chinese Wikipedia pages (This one) and some sources, including 8 days and Iweekly had provided information that the editors had missed out (i've did added the info recently before I did my 2002 cleanup), and there were also many other awards that they previously give out before it became defunct. Also, I can provide the missing information for the top 10 most favourite artiste's hotline number for Star Awards 2000 where the Chinese wiki did not give out; it is a 1900-112-68xx (xx are numbers between 20-49 (males), and 70-89 (females))

Please help us out, so that we can see the Star Awards 2019 in three weeks or so in a smooth pace. Thanks! (Sculture65 (talk) 12:21, 22 March 2019 (UTC))Reply

I've just left a reply. Just to clarify, just do improvement articles for the English Star Awards articles prior to 2001. If time permits, please check through the 2002 onwards for any minor mistakes. Thanks (Sculture65 (talk) 12:39, 22 March 2019 (UTC))Reply
I've left another reply; so far so good. (Sculture65 (talk) 15:56, 22 March 2019 (UTC))Reply

Hello, Unknown152438, I'm here again, and I'm thanking you for lending a helping hand on some of the Star Awards articles; it was many articles, but i'm glad we help one out (including the Creative Backstage Achievement Awards, which I was the first to notice, though you help me fixed some mistakes). Anyway, i'm hope we are ready for next Sunday's SA ceremony, and I will do my best helping out updating the article throughout the ceremony (like I previously having experience doing SPOP Sing! finals). I would like to try, given that this was the silver jubilee.

Until then, thank you for helping! (Sculture65 (talk) 14:54, 6 April 2019 (UTC))Reply

By the way, i'm currently doing some Records and statistics of Star Awards like what I saw on the Primetime Emmy Awards (the American counterpart of Star Awards, since it's also TV awards), an idea i saw from the microsite [2].

RE: Star Awards

edit

First of all, there is nothing wrong with the current template. Secondly, your "NEW" look is obviously copied from the Academy Award articles. LOL.

RE: Star Awards

edit

Again, there is nothing wrong with the design. I have no idea what kind of looks you are going for but this is obviously not the place for you to experiment with the "look". DerricktanJCW (talk) 14:24, 14 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Malaysia Golden Global Awards (MIFFest) 2019 moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Malaysia Golden Global Awards (MIFFest) 2019, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It is likely too soon for this article to be written, since the festival isn't for a few months. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).
