Speedy deletion nomination of User/Timdwilliamson/JeffSessions editsEdit

Hello Timdwilliamson,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged User/Timdwilliamson/JeffSessions edits for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Blythwood (talk) 07:08, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

This seems to be in the main article space. Maybe you meant to put it in your sandbox? All the best. Blythwood (talk) 07:09, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

I patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS (talk) 02:48, 22 January 2016 (UTC)

Nomination for deletion of Template:X11 color chartEdit

Template:X11 color chart has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. PaleAqua (talk) 19:41, 6 February 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be home tomorrow and can respond then from my main account.  Etamni mobile |  |  07:22, 7 February 2016 (UTC)  Etamni mobile |  |  07:22, 7 February 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Etamni-m (talkcontribs)

I really dislike editing from a mobile device! Anyway, a fairly wordy keep vote has been posted to the nomination, with an explanation for the purpose of the template. I guess it's just a wait-and-see situation now. Etamni | ✉   07:35, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Thanks again for the heads up. The nomination has been closed as "keep" -- now the talk page gets to wear a handy-dandy template that tells the world someone wanted to delete it but consensus said to keep it! :) Etamni | ✉   15:13, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

@Etamni: No problem. I didn't understand the arguments to delete, and thought you'd have a better handle on why it should be saved. - Tim D. Williamson yak-yak 16:57, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 31Edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jack Horner (paleontologist), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Thomas Carr. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:44, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter messageEdit

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:04, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

Userbox requestEdit

Hi Timdwilliamson, I was wondering if you could make a userbox with the text "This user is a Populist", similar to the one below But maybe just slightly taller, os a more standard height. I like the green color scheme (feel free to tinker with the color if it looks cooler) but could you add this image on the left: File:HueyPLongGesture.jpg. Could you use the version I uploaded with square dimensions.

This user is a populist.

Thanks, I appreciate it.HAL333 22:47, 4 December 2019 (UTC)

Attribution pleaseEdit

Hello, I have noticed that you and a group of other users have copied my "blue button link" idea. This is fine, but can you please credit me?
Thanks, CrazyMinecart88 (talk | contribs) 12:34, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

@CrazyMinecart88: Sure. What blue button are you referring to? - TimDWilliamson speak 20:01, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

"viet-am" UserboxEdit

Your page tells me to check with you and not to edit it directly; I'm leaving this comment as you seem to have made a mistake in /ubx/viet-am (don't worry, this is just a fork of the ubx with the mistake highlighted). If you want, here's a copy with red:

Timdwilliamson is is proud to be Vietnamese-American!.*
