I saw your note; yes I think the article has an accusatory POV slant. I'd suggest you do a rewrite or list it on VfD (Votes for Deletion). -- Essjay · Talk 02:58, Jun 22, 2005 (UTC)

I went by and reread the article; I think it's good. It could probably use some wikifying (making it more in the Wikipedia style) but I think the content is good. Good work! By the way, I noticed the multiple edits in the history; when you're editing a page, you can use the preview button ("show preview" beside the button that says "save page") to get a preview of your work without submitting it. It helps keep the hisory lists short. -- Essjay · Talk 04:35, Jun 23, 2005 (UTC)

Cleanup Taskforce - Think Fast edit

Hi. I'm really, really sorry, but I am not able to deal with math that is this high level. I can do math quickly and without error for the things I am able to do, but this is beyond me. If there is anything easier that I can do, please let me know. If you could, please tell me what I should do with the tasks you have given me. Again, I am really sorry. --Think Fast July 5, 2005 22:35 (UTC)

No need to apologize, by any means. I'm still a little amazed that people are volunteering to have complete strangers assign them work. 8) The thing to do with Cleanup Taskforce issues you don't happen to have the time, expertise, inclination, etc. to handle, is to simply reassign them to someone else. I looked at the membership list for someone else who lists math as an interest, and who has been active recently...I ended up moving these tasks to User:Android79/Desk. I guess we'll see what happens next. Thanks for helping keep pending issues moving, and thanks for joining the Cleanup Taskforce. Oh, and if you want to assign yourself something else, there are a number of neglected issues on Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce. There are also math-related cleanup tasks at Wikipedia:Pages_needing_attention/Mathematical_and_Natural_Sciences#Mathematics, though some of these may also be high-level math topics. Anyway, thanks again, Beland 6 July 2005 03:15 (UTC)

Thanks for your help! I've added NetBIOS to your desk, based on your interest in computers; see if you can help it out. In general, feel free to pull unassigned tasks from Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce, Template:Opentask, or Category:Cleanup by month if anything there interests you. Though I'm trying to make a point of actively suggesting articles if people have space on their desks, because it seems like such a shame to let eager volunteers go idle. 8) -- Beland 21:29, 10 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Australian Air League edit

I have expanded the stub and removed the australia-stub template. I have taken the task off my desk, but I don't know if I should delete this task anywhere else because this is my first time I have done this on my own (e.g. a list of articles being worked on by the clean-up taskforce, a list of stubs, etc.). Thanks. --Think Fast 01:08, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Cheers! That article looks infinitely better now. For reference, I have closed it by doing the following:
  1. Adding a short note on the taskforce page (Wikipedia:Cleanup_Taskforce/Australian Air League) saying that it is closed. (This is optional though.)
  2. Moving the appropriate link from Wikipedia:Cleanup_Taskforce to Wikipedia:Cleanup_Taskforce/closed.
  3. Replacing the {{cleanup taskforce notice}} tag with {{cleanup taskforce closed}} on the article's talk page. (I don't always do this though).
Step 2 is the only crucial one. Thanks, Stewart Adcock 14:40, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Think Fast!
Just dropping a note to say thanks for the Barnstar and I also have a question - have you ever been a member of the Air League or did you manage to find all the original information yourself? Just curious. Ta! Qarnos 03:18, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, you did a pretty good job for someone with no background in the AAL! I'm very impressed. I've been in the League since I was 14 (now 25), so I still have quite a bit I need to add. Thanks for getting it started, though. Qarnos 09:25, 4 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

What Wikisource is about... edit

Hi, and thanks for having a look at Wikisource. What do we do? We put text that is the public domain in a friendly form on Wikisource. A lot of this comes from Project Gutenberg, but not all. A lot of it is old, and the copyright has expired, and the rest is exempt (legal documents, charters etc). What can you do? Lots! We have some projects, such as the Diary of Samuel Pepys and the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica. The advantage of Wikisource, is that we can cross link to Wikipedia to highlight names, and provide context. At the moment we are also looking into creating mini-portals for different areas such as essays, poetry, etc. But in general we need people to help add content and provide structure for growth. Feel free to get involved, I look forward to your help. Comment on either of my talk pages (at WP or WS), I'm also watching this page too. Greg Robson 20:57, 23 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Ian. I'm interested in joining the Userboxes Wikiproject. Baseball on Wikicities edit

Hello Think Fast, Googie Man here and I want to ask you something as a fellow baseball fan on Wikipedian. Jimbo and Angela have made a new webstie called Wikicities. This link in particular will take you to the baseball Wikicity. As you'll see it's similar to Wikipedia, but my hope is this will allow baseball fans to do more and different things, like reporting on games, in depth statistics, create mulitple pages for pictures, and whatever else baseball fans care to create. You've done great work on Wikipedia and I was hoping you could help get this baseball Wikicity off the ground. Please let me know what you think either at my talk page, or you can email me at terry@wikia.com. Thanks! Googie Man(Talk), 20:56, 4 January 2006.

Preposition userboxes edit

I don't know what the problem is. They work fine in my sandbox. I would recommend deleting those categories, though. Not every userbox needs a category with it, and user categories that don't really correspond to any sort of community that's likely to meet in real life are especially iffy. --Angr (tɔk) 22:53, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

About userboxes edit

When you put a userbox in your info page, it automatically lists a category at the bottom. I made a userbox and a category for that userbox. When I put that userbox in my userinfo, it does not automatically list the category I made for it at the bottom. How do you make a userbox automatically list a category at the bottom? va_girl2468 (User talk:va_girl2468) 11:43, 28 January 2006

RE: RE: About userboxes edit

I did that and it worked, but somehow I'm still the only person that appears in the category. I went to someone else's page who had the userbox I created, and the category I made automatically appeared on the bottom of their page, but somehow they're not listed in the category. What's going on? I hope my wording did not confuse you. Thanks for helping me out. va_girl2468 (User talk:va_girl2468) 13:38, 28 January 2006

Breve lección de español edit

Hola Think Fast,

Card game user templates edit

Dear Think Fast,

I have been on a mission to reduce the amount of user templates by merging like ones together by using parser functions for the differences. Recently I made a master card game template based on your work. After enough people switch to the master template, I would like to put your individual ones up for deletion. Now, I am hoping that you will not be hurt by this. You can see the master template at Template:User card games. I have put a little message on all but 4 of those templates on your user page to see the master template. Hopefully you will not be angry with me when you read this. Thank you for your great design.

No content in Category:That's So Raven episodes edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:That's So Raven episodes, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:That's So Raven episodes has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:That's So Raven episodes, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Bilateral treaties edit

Those pages were deleted because the person who did the split has been banned from Wikipedia and isn't allowed to edit here at all. There isn't anything stopping you (or anyone else who isn't banned) from recreating them. The material that was split is still present in the edit history of the page it was split from here. Speedy deletion nomination of Bertil Bull Hedlund edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bertil Bull Hedlund requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Proposed deletion of Jacqueline Assaël edit

Hello, Think Fast. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Jacqueline Assaël, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Your draft article, Draft:Georges Vajda edit

Hello, Think Fast. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Georges Vajda".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 17:58, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Austin Smith (poet) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Austin Smith (poet), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

enough to avoid a speedy being a century old, but a BEFORE identifies only people being cited as members - nothing to approach WP:ORG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
