Reasonable English is required to create articles edit

Hello, I have had to make these edits to your last three pages creations - this, this and this. You should not be creating articles in such poor English, as you are making work for other editors, as you have just made for me. In future, please create new articles through the WP:AFC process so that editors do not need to spend their time doing this. Thank you, Black Kite (talk) 14:27, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • And now you're adding bad English back to the articles that have been fixed [1] [2]. If your command of the language is not good enough you should not be editing articles in the English Wikipedia. This is a formal warning - please stop degrading articles. Black Kite (talk) 17:59, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • And now you've written Draft:Bhusawal taluka, with equal amounts of poor English (and the one source is a dead link). It is utterly unfair to ask other editors to clean up after you. I asked you above to use the AFC process for new articles; since you haven't, I have moved this one to the AFC process. Black Kite (talk) 10:06, 3 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Enough edit

Yet again, you are writing terrible English into articles [3]. I have reverted this. Please stop doing this as you clearly aren't competent enough to write large amounts of English content. Black Kite (talk) 18:17, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

As will I if this continues. Doug Weller talk 19:12, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • If you revert that again or add further poor content to another article I will block you. Simply, your choice. I've asked you enough times to stop adding terrible English to articles. Last chance. 19:06, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
  • @Black Kite: looks like you had the wrong number of tildes directly above. Anyway, given this [4] reported to me on my talk page, I think there's no value in wasting time trying to correct this editor. What say you? Doug Weller talk 12:59, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and... edit

Hi! I came here to comment that I have now come across several articles to which you have contributed and which have required/still require major editing. However, as I see that other users have been here before me to point this out to you, it's obviously something you are already well aware of.

As there is no hurry to add content to most articles, especially those dealing with historical events, I suggest you approach this in at least two ways: As per WP:CIRNOT, you can post an edit request on the article talk page, where other users can give you useful feedback. Another option is to use your sandbox to edit your content before posting it on an actual article page. Re-reading a text, several times, and over a number of days, often highlights at least the most serious gaffes; the occasional gremlin will inevitably creep in, but these rarely interrupt the flow of the content and can remain undetected by even the most experienced proofreaders...

I hope the above is useful. Regards, Technopat (talk) 08:07, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am trying to write accurate, but if you observed grammatical mistake, notify me, I'll fix it and I'll use sandbox. Tesla car owner (talk) 10:00, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
You do not seem to have adequate knowledge of English to make the kind of contributions you are attempting:
Many Indians told that Book My Show made them wait 2 to 5 hours in que to buy a ticket and those reached to the seat selection page, did not able to book ticket, many claimed that the tickets was sold out before official booking was started.[5]
Perhaps there are other sorts of contributions you can make to Wikipedia, or work on the Wikipedia for your native language? —DIYeditor (talk) 13:05, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for advice, I will look forward to do that, I will create article in sandbox and then will send it for review. Tesla car owner (talk) 19:09, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Technopat mentor? I don’t know much about it though. Doug Weller talk 21:29, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi Tesla car owner and @Doug Weller. I'm afraid I'm not mentor material. Apart from my two suggestions above, how about trying the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area? --Technopat (talk) 22:51, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics edit

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Drive-by tagging edit

  While I admire your zeal for editing Wikipedia, you recently added 5 Citation needed templates to a single article, Narendra Modi Stadium. In my opinion this is considered drive-by tagging where a Wikipedia editor overdoes the tagging on an article. If all those statements needed a citation, perhaps you could consider fixing the problems yourself. Shearonink (talk) 14:18, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think we should remove that unsourced data. Tesla car owner (talk) 14:23, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Tesla car owner But in some cases you added more unsourced. Did you check their articles for sources? Do you have a reason for not adding sources yourself or do you think the information was false?
Minor point - not everyone will know the word "erstwhile" and it sounds clumsy.
Note that the article is within the contentious topics area. Doug Weller talk 14:38, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Doug Weller: I don't know the info is true or false and I can't add ref there because its hard to find. Your very experienced editor and your English is also not gibberish, why your not adding ref there. Tesla car owner (talk) 16:26, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

GOCE copy-edit request removed edit

Hi Tesla car owner, I'm Baffle_gab1978, a copy-editor with the Guild of Copy Editors (GOCE). I've removed your copy-edit request for Narendra Modi Stadium, at the GOCE Requests page (REQ) here because REQ currently has a limit of two requests per editor at any one time. We enforce this limit to ensure every request can be dealt with in a reasonable time. If you'd like this article to be dealt with before the others, feel free to replace one of them with Narendra Modi Stadium; otherwise, please wait until at least one of your extant requests has been dealt with before re-adding any more requests to the page. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 01:33, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

 This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Football in India edit

Hi Tesla car owner, I've done a lot of tidying up with this article; a lot of it is unreferenced or poorly referenced. I've marked several subsections with {{unreferenced section}} and {{cn}}, and that material is now subject to removal per WP:VERIFY unless refs are found. The Stadiums section was poorly written so I've cleaned that up a bit too. See the article's history for full details. Good luck with the article and cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:22, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Maharashtra Premier League edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Maharashtra Premier League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maharashtra Premier League. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
