Speedy deletion nomination of Ekroop Bedi

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ekroop Bedi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Dewritech (talk) 09:56, 15 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm KSFT. I noticed that you recently removed all content from List of programs broadcast by Hum TV with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. KSFTC 15:02, 1 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

List criteria

edit

As per all content in articles, content in lists must be verifiable as having been published in reliable sources . List content must also generally be notable in and of itself . -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 20:32, 18 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Changes at Ayesha Khan

edit

If you want to change the spelling within the article you need to get consensus on the article talk page. As it stands the article title and the single source included in the article do not support the change.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:50, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

BLP violation

edit

Your edit to Mawra Hocane introduced a blatant and unacceptable violation of BLP policy which I have now removed from the history of the article. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:23, 1 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sources are required

edit

I added a "sources" column because sources are required.WP:V. Whether or not sources are in a call out column specifically for sources is a matter of style, but the complete lack of sources in this instance benefits from being called out as readers will be made aware of the lack of verification and casual editors will be alerted to the importance of sourcing and experienced editors will have a consistent place to insert the sources.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:51, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tumhare Siwa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ahsan Khan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Sehra Main Safar

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sehra Main Safar, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

List of programs broadcast by Hum TV

edit

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of programs broadcast by Hum TV, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.
The List of programs broadcast by Hum TV page was protected precisely to stop the constant re-addition of the promotional "Future programming section", contrary to WP:V and WP:CRYSTAL. Please do NOT reinstate this section - Thank-you - Arjayay (talk) 08:29, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of programs broadcast by Hum TV. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Arjayay (talk) 08:17, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

COI

edit

  Hello, Sulaiman Ali. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article List of programs broadcast by Hum TV, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 08:33, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Adhi Gawahi

edit

The article Adhi Gawahi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No text. No references. No indication of notability (such as reviews).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Punjab Nahi Jaungi moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 14:52, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please consider this a final warning; if you continue to make such unsourced edits you will be blocked in order to ensure you have the time to review our important policies and guidelines regarding inclusion of such material.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:22, 1 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Bilal Abbas Khan

edit

The article Bilal Abbas Khan has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Bilal Abbas Khan. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. As it has been deleted, you must first create it's draft. SahabAliwadia 11:00, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistent addition of unsourced content. I warned you recently that any further violations of our policies and guidelines regarding sourcing would result in a block, and yet you continue to ignore these requirements. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:45, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Sulaiman Ali, reviewing the edits at Saba Qamar I now see that you were (partially) restoring sourced content. That does not explain your persistent addition of unsourced content across multiple articles, and your lack of communication and collaboration, including non-existant use of edit summaries. Have you read WP:RS and WP:BLP? If you commit to following these requirements and to include edit summaries explaining your edits I will unblock your account. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:01, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
