Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Joseph Plateau‎‎, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. As per MOS:HEADINGS: "Section headings should: [...] Not contain links, especially where only part of a heading is linked." Peaceray (talk) 06:22, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: 1988 in Punjab (November 22)

edit

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Jovanmilic97 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Not notable enough on its own. Feel free to edit Punjab instead.

Deletion discussion about Kailaasa

edit

Hello, Serjatt6

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username JamesG5 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Kailaasa, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kailaasa.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|JamesG5}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hi, please note it looks like you tried to overwrite my AfD before it was complete, instead of leaving a comment on it. Proper way to handle it is to leave a comment, not re-write the whole thing. I also noted that in your comment you referred to this as if it were actually a nation/country. As a matter of practicality, international law, and general standards of Wikipedia someone simply buying a chunk of property and calling it a "nation" doesn't make it one. If the AfD is decided as I propose, it won't be "preserved for history." At best right now this merits a mention on the Nithyananda page under the "fugitive" section. It might warrant a redirect but even that is questionable. JamesG5 (talk) 08:50, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Also, RE your comment about it being a current event, that's part of the issue. See WP:NOTNEWS. JamesG5 (talk) 08:55, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kailaasa

edit

Please do not introduce inappropriate pages, such as Kailaasa, to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Chishuiella changwenlii

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chishuiella changwenlii requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. tLoM (The Lord of Math) (Message) 02:26, 13 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Chishuiella changwenlii

edit

The article Chishuiella changwenlii has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable topic

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. tLoM (The Lord of Math) (Message) 07:47, 13 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
