Speedy deletion nomination of Bu-Ma Democratic Protests

edit

Hello Rhee In Joon,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bu-Ma Democratic Protests for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. 114BryanKurtLet's talk! 03:14, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bu-Ma Democratic Protests

The article is progressing quite well. But you still need to add references to every sentence! This is the most important element of finishing this project! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 13:38, 11 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate parameters

edit

When adding parameters to templates, like you did here and here, if the parameter name already exists, just put the value there, instead of adding the name again. This prevents the page from cluttering up Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls. Jackmcbarn (talk) 03:23, 20 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Outline of South Korea, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page East Sea. E SENS article quality rating

edit

Thanks for taking the time to assess the article for E SENS. I am wondering why you rated it as Stub Class rather than Start Class. Are there specific elements of the article you'd recommend improving? Thanks again! Lenoresm (talk) 20:53, 24 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

To Lenoresm, Thanks for your comment. I've read E SENS article again after your comment, I think I made a mistake while rating class. This article should be changed as Start Class. I'll change it right now. Thanks! --Rhee In Joon (talk) 03:18, 25 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Lee Bong-chang.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Lee Bong-chang.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. In order for us to upload an image to Wikimedia Commons, it has to be in public domain (not copyrighted) in the US AND KOREA. For US, see commons:Commons:Hirtle_chart/ko. Since the image is not American, but Korean we look at "Works First Published Outside the U.S. by citizens of foreign nations". So we look at Wikipedia:Non-U.S. copyrights. The applicable law is "Art. 36, Copyright Act of 30 December 1989". Now, how does that law deal with anonymous authors? If the author is not known and the picture is from 1932 or earlier, was it copyrighted in 1994? --Rhee In Joon (talk) 06:54, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Korean Patriotic Organization

edit

On 24 June 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Korean Patriotic Organization, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the secret Korean Patriotic Organization aimed for Korean independence through assassinations of prominent Japanese figures? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Korean Patriotic Organization. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Korean Patriotic Organization), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:24, 21 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
