AfC notification: Draft:Kimberly Humphreys has a new comment edit

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Kimberly Humphreys. Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 16:15, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
I agree that based on what is in the draft and searches on her name, Kimberly does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability. This may be {{WP:TOOSOON]], or she may never. If you agree, stop working on the draft. Six months from now, there will be messages that the draft will be deleted if no action taken. David notMD (talk) 21:29, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

David,

I started working on the draft yesterday and will continue to develop it. I welcome assistance from others, this will help to alleviate the potential for COI issues in the future.

I understand your concern regarding that it may be too soon for review, considering noteworthiness, which is why I will wait until the release of he next book which will have a significant impact on this requirement.

Thanks for your input and I look forward to editing with you.

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Radiancelux. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Draft:Kimberly Humphreys, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 16:18, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the advice Theroadislong, very informative.

I understand the COI guidelines and have fully disclosed my relationship to the subject. I will take every effort to remain neutral, and I welcome others input of course. My intent is to work and develop the draft in preparation for her reaching the noteworthy requirements of Wikipedia. Which I project will happen in the not to distant future with the release of her next book. I will not request review until such time.

Thanks again!
