NGC 910 edit

Hello there,

Thank you for this article. While reviewing the article, I noticed that there is a dead link in the citations. Please fix the citation no.2. Regards. Hitro talk 06:21, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started edit

Hello, PlanetAakash

Thank you for creating NGC 825.

User:I dream of horses, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

When you create 25 articles, you can self-nominate for autopatrolled here. Then you don't have to have your articles reviewed.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|I dream of horses}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Autopatrolled granted edit

Hi PlanetAakash, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 02:24, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Due to the recent incident, I am revoking your Autopatrolled. As I said, I normally would not have granted it due to the single-purpose stubs you have created, but I was under the impression that you were here to focus on an uncontentious project, as you stated, and that problematic article creations outside of this were not to be expected. Intentionally or not, you immediately created a problematic article after being exempted from the reviewing process. I understand that you are saying that it was a mistake, and mistakes are fine, however this kind of mistake renders you unqualified for Autopatrolled. When given Autopatrolled, it's already assumed that you're trustworthy enough to independently create articles without needing to go through the screening process, and it is apparent that this is not the case. This is not a punishment, nor will it effect your editing in any way. It simply means that your article creations will not be exempted from the standard review process. Best, ~Swarm~ {sting} 05:12, 31 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello PlanetAakash, I've moved your article to Draft:Manish Singh (entrepreneur) as it only cites unusable paid sources. Please read our guide for paid editor (and WP:COI), we ask that you don't create articles in mainspace, instead you should only submit through WP:AFC. Before submitting this draft for review, please remove all paid sources and only use reliable, independant coverage. Swarm may have granted you autopatrolled, but you should really not be creating paid articles on obviously non-notable individuals. – Thjarkur (talk) 21:05, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Categorizing under Category:NGC objects edit

Hi there! When you categorize NGC objects using Category:NGC objects, I recommend that you add a sortkey. For example, for NGC 534, you would change [[Category:NGC objects]] to [[Category:NGC objects|0534]] so it sorts properly. Thanks. Loooke (talk) 17:10, 30 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

April 2020 edit

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Draft:Manish Singh (entrepreneur), give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:PlanetAakash, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=PlanetAakash|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Sulfurboy (talk) 14:54, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

But, I have no connection with the subject, nor i have taken any amount of money from any person/organization to edit for him. I have also stated my case earlier that I am new to the Wikipedia. I did not knew about all these kind of scams here happening on Wikipedia. In no way, I wanted to tarnish the integrity and image of Wikipedia by contributing such spammed article. You can heartly check my editing history, my all edits are good, live and without any bad history - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/PlanetAakash). I am here on academic project for editing/creating Astronomy articles - like NGC objects, scientists from astronomy field etc.
I was just exploring the features in Wikipedia when i was editing Manish Singh's article. Moreover, I did knew that these news sources are spammed, because they are considered reliable and Independent on Indian Wikiprojects. See all discussion here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:%C3%9Ejarkur/Archive_2#Paid_sources?. It was just an honest mistake. I have now refrained myself to totally to astronomy articles, no other topic.
Thank You. I hope you are safe at your place :). PlanetAakash (talk) 06:44, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
