I agree that the play should be mentioned in adaptations, the only reason it hasnt been added thus far was because we did not have a reliable reference for it. That said, is there anything more that the book you found this information in said about the adaptation, was it well recieved, where it was originally performed, was it in English or Spanish adaptation? Wikipedia Takes Manhattan! - usability suggstions for photos edit
I don't know if you've been monitoring the mention of this on the COM:Village Pump, but I made a couple suggestions there as to how to possibly preserve as many photos as possible for future use both here and on other language wikis and outside, beyond depicting the event. They deal primarily with how the participants document the code #s that specific locations/objects are tied to. Let me know what you think, since I haven't done one of these yet, so maybe I'm off. - My primary concern is unintentional harm done to uninvolved parties, as was the case with Brad. One photographer's stridency isn't relevant to whether a user chooses to put others' safety at risk. No mere policy or page consensus is relevant to such an actual life or death issue. In my comments I never made a statement of policy, neither did I characterize anyone's motives. I simply reported my experience, and made a predictive generalization. Hey, I liked the idea of meeting some of those I know online, but all this drama will keep me from participating. You can run your events anyway you want, but be aware your choices will determine attendance. Sorry if this conversation has been negative; I've been paid to run large (somewhat political) volunteer-driven events before (and done it for free, too), and I thought I might offer a varying perspective, based on hard experience. - No, I'm more concerned with you stoking undue fear in people. You aren't my target audience, BusterD, and you are not nearly important enough on the site to anyone who doesn't like Wikipedia to be a target. ITN candidate page mockup edit
Please take a look at User:BanyanTree/Sandbox. I couldn't figure out a way to automatically update the Current events templates AND put conversation under the relevant day's template without getting someone to make a bot to create a specialize discussion template that transcludes each day's current events template. I also took a stab at a timer, though I'm not sure I got the coding right. In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, elect a board of directors, and hold salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the last meeting's minutes).
We'll also review our recent Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, and make preparations for our exciting successor Wiki Week bonanza, being planned with Columbia University students for September or October.
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.

Hi. I noticed you changed the format of ITN/C, in accordance with BanyanTree's suggestion. While I am not outright opposed to the change, I do not think it is a great idea to make the change without a larger discussion. I know the idea was fairly well-received on the ITN 2.0 talk page, but a larger discussion at ITN Talk would have been nice. - Fair enough, BOLD action is probably needed in the case of ITN, and seeing your comments on the ITN talk page, perhaps we should at least try it for a few days. - I feel as if I am answering Sphinx's questions. You see, the main page balance is not an exact science; it is dependent upon various factors, such as screen resolution, window configuration, font size and browser. I have been told so many different complaints by different users, I really don't know which tune I should dance to. I guess what we can do is to tolerate small, insignificant blank spaces on Main Page (on our screens), and fix any seriously big chunk of blank space. --BorgQueen (talk) 19:31, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I tried to resolve the problem; User Mkil and somebody else have been at war with a guy named boxingwear.

- It is obvious privacy violation is a problem here, I do not think Mkil has the right to do what he is doing, doing this on purpose and he knows it. There is also 3kk warning on his site and many other warnings.
