Please read wp:verifiability. Adding references is how we ensure that content is correct. Without references, there is no presumption of accuracy. Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources.

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, St Mary's Church, Haddenham, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! BTW: the directions "north" and "south" are not proper nouns, so they should not be capitalized. Please check your edits. You had deleted a few characters and merged angles and quoined to "anglequoined". Remember, this article is "live" and any changes are seen immediately by all. You can use the "Preview" button, check things, then the "Save page". Jim1138 (talk) 17:57, 23 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Patrick.Maxie1. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mark West (English footballer), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Mark West (English footballer) to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Turn End, Haddenham. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The article is an "orphan" until there are links to it from other articles; it needs more references; it needs more links to other articles. PamD 13:03, 12 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ellis Hercules

edit

Hello. Please could you restore the proposed deletion template to this article as I don't want to have to waste other editors' time with a full AfD discussion. He clearly fails our notability criteria for footballers as he's never played in a fully-professional league – see how the deletion discussion on Lynton Goss is going. Thanks, Number 57

I see you have also deprodded the West article despite the fact that he clearly fails our notability guidelines. I'm not sure why you are determined to waste other editors' time? Number 57 19:32, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ellis Hercules

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ellis Hercules, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of 2017 Whitehall Incident

edit

Hello, Patrick.Maxie1. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, 2017 Whitehall Incident, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Proposed deletion of Dan West (english footballer)

edit

The article Dan West (english footballer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTY having never played in a fully professional league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Footballer articles

edit

Hello. It seems you have ignored the above advice and are continuing to create articles on non-notable footballers. If you create any more articles on Thame United players that fail WP:NFOOTY, then I will request a topic ban for you. If you break this, your account will then be blocked. Please refrain from wasting other editors' time. Thanks, Number 57 09:23, 9 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Aldo Junior Simoncini. GiantSnowman 09:28, 21 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

GiantSnowman, as you're an admin, you may be able to help, Patrick is unfortunately still displaying the same behaviour, see [1], which seems to be a recreation of Dan West (english footballer). Patrick, please don't create articles with no content (you may come back at some point, but they should be done before being put in mainspace). Also English has a capital 'e', like all languages. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Daniel West (english footballer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
