Recent edit to Roblox edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Roblox, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Roblox edit

Hi.

Are you sure you know what you are reverting?

And remember, edit summary for reverting is mandatory unless you revert vandalism. Failing to provide one might lead to the loss of your editing privileges.

Best regards,

Why make a speedy deletion claim edit

  No
Why did you make a speedy deletion claim for the article on the glimpson. The article was made by the CREATOR of the glimpson, therefore it cannot harm him in any way and was not made to make fun of the creator. Ericglimpson23 (talk) 19:25, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

NPP edit

Hi.We appreciate your enthusiasm but with only just over 100 edits to mainspace and your own creations being deleted, you do not have anywhere near enough experience to be patrolling and tagging other articles. If you insist on doing maintenance tasks, you may wish to consider a much easier task such as helping to combat vandalism, but even to do that you will need 200 edits to mainspace to enroll at the WP:CVUA to learn all about it. Happy editing ! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:50, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of SHEP (company) edit

The article SHEP (company) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Holding off on deletion requests edit

Hello. I removed the A1 ("no context") speedy deletion tag you'd placed on Canon Sinuum (Vlacq). I was surprised to see it because the very first version of the article stated very clearly what it was about. But even if it hadn't: We customarily allow a reasonable amount of time for the first cut of the article to be written before judging it for lack of context, lack of content, or lack of apparent significance.* We want to avoid WP:BITE situations, where people have every intention of creating an article that passes muster but haven't finished it yet. A typical grace period is 15-30 minutes since the latest revision, though it doesn't hurt to wait longer.

*Unless the content already written shows very clearly that the article isn't going anywhere—for example, when it's about a person, and the content written so far informs us the person had been captain of his high school chess team. If he'd also invented a cure for cancer, the editor would probably have mentioned that first.

Replaceable fair use File:Lucas Watson face.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Lucas Watson face.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Majora (talk) 22:15, 8 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for April 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Crew (YouTubers) edit

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article The Crew (YouTubers) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article was about a real person or group of people, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or an organized event, but did not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is actually significant enough for an encyclopedia article, you are free to re-create it, but this time you need to demonstrate that, which is best done by citing to reliable, secondary sources that are entirely unconnected to the topic.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:44, 21 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:ROBLOX Studio 2016.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:ROBLOX Studio 2016.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:49, 23 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

New deal for page patrollers edit

Hi Pastorma,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: 2018–19 North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team edit

Hello Pastorma. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on 2018–19 North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 10:03, 7 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

FaZe Clan address edit

That was unsourced and might be anyone's, so I've hidden it. I don't think it's encyclopedic in any case, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't add it again, particularly as I see it's evidently been leaked.[faze clan address] Thanks. Doug Weller talk 06:01, 17 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
