Image copyright problem with File:DC1ost AlbumCover.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:DC1ost AlbumCover.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 21:28, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I dont know what you're talking about Ovaries V....but I just started editing here....you might think you know who I'am...you might not i don't really care but lets just say I know a few wikipedia users here and some of them are very dedicated....you might think you're talking to the same person you think you're talking to but guy you're wrong...I have no idea who you are but I heard some bad things from some people here about harrassing other users with emails just because you don't or whoever doean't like how someone edits here...and so far I'm beginning to think they're right...has it ocurred to you that you might not be talking to the same person....I heard some bad things about you and other people here so don't bring that sht with me too....if this was a more serious case I'd probably sue your sss for harrassment I dont care if you're not even 18 yet but don't mess with me as you did other people here....yeah I heard some things...I can't imagine if what I heard from people here would actually happen in real life cause if it was there would be alot of hitting left and right from people...so I guess its better to for users to argue here than in real life whereas in real life the person or persons might actually get hurt...over silly things so think about that before emailing me thinking you know me....I just got here and never met you so think twice about your actions and don't send me harrasing emails cause I'm "not" who you think I'am so stop talking to me like I know what you're talking about.XBLACKXVIPERX (talk) 06:14, 13 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Reach.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Reach.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Speedy deletion of Biohazard 5 Original Soundtrack edit

A tag has been placed on Biohazard 5 Original Soundtrack requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. This is a useful idea, but needs some reference: on what basis did you classify the countries? Rick Norwood (talk) 16:18, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your reply. I notice that the map has been deleted from at least two pages. The problem is a lack of clear references to what sources you used to construct the map. Without that, it is original research, which is not appropriate in Wikipedia. Rick Norwood (talk) 14:17, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
The major problem with such a map is that each country will be largely self-described as left/right. Denmark is in the current map blue (yep - its a right wing party), and the US is red (yep - its a left wing party).... But ... The Danish right-wing is (significantly) more left-wing than the US's left-wing. So the map confers very little information. --Kim D. Petersen (talk) 13:09, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

OR edit

As I explained, it is your opinion as to what constitutes "ruling" (you make no distinction between authortarian and democratic governments and many nations have 'coalitions for instance) and as such it represents your views. Also, Wikipedia is not a reliable source. Soxwon (talk) 23:25, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

You're missing the point, what consitutes ruling? Control of the presidency, control of the legislative, can it be both, can it be neither? Some could argue that bureaucracy rules this country, so would that be left or right wing? It's your WP:OR that makes that decision and thus why it is invalid. Soxwon (talk) 23:39, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry for your work, but no. You are still classifying the nations as to their political ideology and have no reference point for determining such. Soxwon (talk) 23:48, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Again, is that an accurate reflection? Whose to say that the US is blue all of a sudden when in the last two elections it was red? If it's that dynamic a change (which I would tend to doubt), then would a map be able to reflect changing moods? What about when Congress changed hands under Bush? Was it still red then? And by whose definition of left and right wing are you using? A centrist in the US might be right wing in Europe. I'm not talking about this anymore as I've clearly illustrated that creating such a map is WP:OR. Soxwon (talk) 23:59, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
What? Soxwon (talk) 00:05, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
One country does not an argument make. This is a non-issue. Soxwon (talk) 00:34, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I know you put a lot of work in on the map, but it doesn't look like it is going to be accepted. I suggest you move on to another project. Rick Norwood (talk) 12:26, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Dino Crisis 3 Original Soundtrack edit

A tag has been placed on Dino Crisis 3 Original Soundtrack requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Degeneration edit

I don't really think that one counts, to be honest. It's pretty much video-fare to go with amusement park stuff. The closest phrase I can think for it is a "cutscene". Personally, I think that the Degeneration line should stay as is, since it is using "film" in the sense of an actual feature film. Though thanks for clarifying that. --Human.v2.0 (talk) 00:53, 8 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Assessment request for Halo 3: ODST edit

Hello, I have looked over the article and promoted it to C class, from Start class. However, currently it is unable to reach the requested B class, as the synopsis section, including plot, setting and characters, is stub like at the moment. This causes it to fail requirement B2. I won't remove it from the assessment requests yet however, as it will no doubt be given some attention after its released. Happy editing, --Taelus (talk) 14:56, 14 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of List of creatures in the Resident Evil series edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of creatures in the Resident Evil series. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of creatures in the Resident Evil series (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:20, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Resident Evil Mobile Games edit

I have nominated Resident Evil Mobile Games, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Resident Evil Mobile Games. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Line break edit

I'm not sure what you're seeing. Could you do a screen capture image so I can see. What I see are two lines of films that are generally the same length on the template. When the line break is removed, what I see is one long line of films with one or two films carrying over to a second line.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 15:58, 27 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

That's odd. What you see appears to be two line breaks. What browser do you use, and what is your resolution at?
Maybe you should try and move the line break, so I can see what it looks like when you've adjusted it to break the films into two lines. Since I don't see the error that you're seeing, it would be hard for me to guess if I'm correcting the mistake.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:26, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Now, this is what I see
. I have 4 short lines of films. That wouldn't pass any inspection. There should only be 2 lines.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:27, 29 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
