BLP policy

edit

Hi Odeadiawashere, I saw your note about this on the talk page before I deleted it. Because this is a proposed article about a living person (I assume), you need to make sure that what you write is accurate and well-sourced, and it has to be that way from the first draft you publish. You need to know whether they were charged, convicted, and whether the conviction was overturned, as appropriate. If the person has only been charged, that means it's usually too soon to create a stand-alone article. You have to know the pertinent details in advance of publishing, and use good sources so that you can trust what you're writing. See our policy on living people at WP:BLP, including WP:BLPCRIME. Many thanks, SarahSV (talk) 19:24, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Murder of Laci Peterson

edit

Hi. Thanks for working to improve the Murder of Laci Peterson article with this edit. Can you add a citation of a reliable source to the passage, per WP:Verifiability? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 20:51, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hey! Thanks for letting me know, I added the sources. I hope its acceptable, if not please let me know! Nightscream --via (talk) 00:45, 7 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
No prob. One other thing: I'm not sure that the way you signed your message above is the right way to do it, since it shows my username, but not yours, which can be confusing. It's easier if you just type four tildes (~~~~). This not only puts your username at the end of the message, but automatically time stamps it too. Let me know if you ever need anything. :-) Nightscream (talk) 00:56, 7 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

haha thank you, but I put your username there so it would mention you, though i'm unsure if i did it correctly. i just wanted to make sure you saw my reply :-) anyways thanks again via (talk) 16:31, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, The Generation Why Podcast, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion.The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Nerd1a4i}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Crime Junkie

edit

You mentioned that Ashley Flowers worked at a hospital when she started Crime Junkie. You referenced an article for that entry but that article doesn't say that and actually doesn't mention her place of employment at all. Ashley worked in sales for a software development company when she started Crime Junkie.
