Disambiguation link notification for August 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Banking in Albania, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Banks. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Backlog
The NPP backlog now stands at 13,158 total unreviewed pages.
Just to recap:
- 13 July 2016: 7,000
- 1 August 2016: 9,000
- 7 August 2016: 10,472
- 16 August 2016: 11,500
- 28 August 2016: 13,158
You naturally don't have to feel obliged, but if there's anything you can do it would be most appreciated. I've spent 40 hours on it this week but it's only a drop in the ocean.--Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 17:09, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

Unión de Todos
Hi, just wanted to pass on a friendly heads-up about the WP:COI issue at Unión de Todos where I see you've been making a bunch of edits recently, and a convenience link to the Talk page discussion going on about it. Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing! Mathglot (talk) 18:47, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks Mathglot, yes I'm aware of potential problems both of conflict of interest and notability, just wanted to have it fully & correctly translated & with accurate representation of the refs, to enable fair judgment to be passed. There is a view that any registered political party is inherently notable; not sure that this has ever been resolved: Noyster (talk), 19:10, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of TravelKhana
The article TravelKhana has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- very small company supplying meals to railroad passengers. references are trivial notices and PR
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 04:13, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Pisco
Hi Noyster. I just want to stop by and say thanks for your edit in Pisco. Hadn't checked out the article for a while. Apparently the typical edit conflict or vandalism still persists in this page, probably because of the article's controversial nature. I think it's safe to assume that the article is in need of protection. (N0n3up (talk) 23:26, 1 November 2016 (UTC))
- Thanks N0n3up, there's evidently a deep-seated dispute between two nations behind these occasional edits, as suggested in the article itself. A request for protection would likely be turned down, as these edits are just not coming frequently enough for protection to be considered justified. Nothing we can't handle at present: Noyster (talk), 00:13, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
- True. I'll keep the article on watch in case it happens again, which I'm pretty sure it will. I noticed that there are disputes between Peru and Chile over a lot of things, including whom created Pisco, then again you never see articles of disputed topics being raided by biased editings. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
