Speedy deletion of Season 2: 2006-2007

edit

A tag has been placed on Season 2: 2006-2007 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Uploading new versions of images

edit

Hi, you should not be uploading completely different images over the top of other images, especially not Fair use images, where the Fair User Rationale applies only and directly to the image in question. You must upload the new image with a new name and create a new fair use rationale for it. The new version upload is intended for uploading new versions of the same image - e.g. restored or better quality versions, not for changing an image entirely. CSD nomination of Chantelle Wellard

edit

A tag has been placed on Chantelle Wellard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Proposed deletion of List of Episodes

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of Episodes, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

This information already exists at The Old Guys.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. License tagging for File:American Dad 1AJN16 underwear.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:American Dad 1AJN16 underwear.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Final warning on replacing fair use images

edit

Once again, as my above comment, you cannot upload entirely different non free use images over the top of fair use images. The fair use rationale applies only to the file it was created for, in the specific articles it was in. Replacing the image invalidates the fair use claim which exists under US copyright law and for this reason this is a final warning to not do this again. If you want to upload a new fair use image then you must upload it with a new filename and create a new fair use rationale for the image, detailing why it is being used in the specific articles along with the other required information. If you need help with this then please ask at Media Copyright Questions. If you persist in uploading images over the top of fair use images, as you have now been warned twice against, then you will have to be blocked from editing to protect the reputation of the community and the status of the encyclopedia. We take copyright very seriously. Please ask if you have questions. Mfield (Oi!) 05:25, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Unless text is explicitly quoted in accordance with our non-free content policy and guideline, whenever you place text on Wikipedia you are indicating that you are legally entitled to license the text under CC-By-SA and GFDL. You can't do this if the text belongs to somebody else, as with the plot summaries you have been copying to these articles. While many companies are perfectly happy for free advertisement of their products, they aren't all willing to grant license in that way, since it allows their text to be modified and used commercially without compensation to them. To meet our copyright policy, you must either put it in your language or quote it. A single-line quotation is not unreasonable, but it can become a problem if you are creating multiple articles copying plot summaries from the same source. What is a small taking in one article becomes a large one across several. Not being at all familiar with the program, I have removed the plot summaries from several articles to allow them to be written in original language by you or by someone else who may know the stories and be able to craft something appropriate. If you have questions about this, please let me know. I'll be watching your talk page for a time. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:04, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Oscar Cole

A tag has been placed on Oscar Cole requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:C 67 article 2042979 body articleblock 0 bodyimage.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks for uploading File:245px-Bullock.jpg.

If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:19, 17 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 02:19, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of SpEd

edit

The article SpEd has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable television episode

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AfD nomination of Rallo Tubbs

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Rallo Tubbs. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rallo Tubbs. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 11 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Lester Krinklesac

edit

I have nominated Lester Krinklesac, an article that you created, for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
