Disambiguation link notification for December 14 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jayen Varma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, thanks for message. If you post an article it will be assessed as it stands. If you don't want that to happen, you should write it as a draft, it's clearly not ready as an article, eg bare urls, dubious refs. Also, since you are part of the company, you must create as a draft and wait for a review. You have an obvious conflict of interest, and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Musicindia1. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Musicindia1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls. Several of your (bare url) refs are press releases, interviews or otherwise unsuitable.
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability. Your text doesn't mention how many employees you have, or turnover or profits, and "California" is a bit vague or location
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews. You tell us little about the company except what it sells.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. You text is substantially copied from at least here, and won't be restored for legal reasons.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:27, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Jimfbleak Thank you for your reply explaining the reasons that led to deletion of the article. Your observation that I wasn't editing in a professional way is right. I accept that. I should have learnt a lot more about editing before creating such an article. Further let me declare that I'm neither a part of the company nor a paid person to write article here. You have already mentioned that it's allowed to edit if I declare. Then I can definitely say it if I'm a part of the company or paid agent. But I honestly tell you that I'm not paid person or connected with the company any manner. I'm working in an Indian firm and an amateur musician learning jazz music and I use the company’s product. I'm so happy with their constant support to aspiring musicians like me on social media platforms by sharing and uploading images and music of coming up musicians like me. Also this brand is known to most of the musicians around the globe that a major percentage of musicians are using one or more of their products. So I felt that it needs a space here. I hope you will definitely look into these positively and review your decision. I used to be active on Wikipedia some years back. Because of my passion for music I used to create articles in Malayalam language by translating pages from English. Now I realize that everything including rules, editing methods, copyright matters etc have changed. There are a lot to understand now before editing. I shall read those rules you mentioned. However, since I'm unable to prove my COI as alleged by you, I promise you that I won't be editing or creating anything in future. I respect your thoughts and words having a good intention. Thanks again. Musicindia1 (talk) 02:52, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the above. There is nothing to stop you trying again, but as I've said, you need to make sure the topic meets our notability guidelines for organisations and companies and check that you can find independent third party sources. If you can't show that the company meets the notability criteria as defined by us, it won't get an article here however well you write it. As I've already indicated, there was nothing in your first attempt to support notability Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:41, 6 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Jimfbleak Thank you so much for your understanding and encouragement. I will write a draft article and submit the same for your review. Musicindia1 (talk) 07:38, 6 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Jimfbleak Dear Sir, I have created a draft article adhering to the rules at my best. Still there should be errors. It’s a short article. I hope you will accept the citations I have included and will publish the same. I have to thank you so much for helping me look into the rules and guidelines. I will be careful in future. Sire Revolution moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Sire Revolution, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 20:06, 2 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
