Hello, I'm Binksternet. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Happily Ever After (1990 film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 00:47, 6 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!   Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to The Swan Princess, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 22:51, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi MrMattHedrich! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia — it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 00:02, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at List of United States presidential firsts, you may be blocked from editing. Yes, theoretically Washington was the first president with reddish hair...and the first male president...and the fist human president, the first biped president, the first president younger than 120, the first president who ate lunch and a billion other things. Unless you can cite reliable sources directly stating the "first", you addition is original research and does not belong on Wikipedia.

To add material to Wikipedia, you will need to learn to use reliable sources for your material and to cite your sources. If you are having difficulties, please ask for help before continuing. SummerPhDv2.0 16:09, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Again, please stop marking all of your edits as "minor". If you add, remove or change content, it is not a minor edit and should not be marked as minor. Minor edits are those that do not change meaning: typo/spelling corrections, punctuation changes, formatting, etc.
If you disagree or do not understand, please ask for help here. - SummerPhDv2.0 17:49, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Re: this edit summary - "Some time after 10:30, according to some sources, Lincoln was put on a bed"

edit

At Abraham Lincoln... As soon as Lincoln was shot he went into a coma. The coma did not start the moment he was laid on that bed at the Petersen's Boarding House...you're not wrong that from the moment he was shot at 10;14/10:15pm that Friday night and until he finally died at 7:22am the next morning, was approximately nine hours (nine hours, 7 minutes), but my point is that he was in a coma/was brain-dead from the moment that low-velocity bullet smashed through his brain at 10:15, he never regained consciousness. That's all. Shearonink (talk) 06:28, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I wanted to apologize for being rebellious towards Wikipedia policy toward editing. The reason why I have to do this is because no one would understand what it really is when talking about a topic as with list of president deaths. Just wanted to apologize for the way I did on Wikipedia.

MrMattHedrich (talk) 16:27, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
While the apology is a good start, your comment suggests that you don't understand the reason your disruptive edits to List of presidents of the United States who died in office were reverted. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:41, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Matt, he already told you where to find it. Please understand, every individual you've interacted with on Wikipedia is a volunteer. We do this in our spare time, for no compensation because we like it. I'll be the first to admit, we do not have a good training program here. That's understandable because everyone is a volunteer. If we ever develop a good training program, it will be because some volunteer (or a group of volunteers) who have an appropriate skillset to develop one decide to do that. What we do have is an abundance of volunteers. Unfortunately if a new volunteer such as yourself shows an unwillingness or inability to adapt to our structures, policies, guidelines and practices and is unwilling to self-motivate themselves to self-start the learning process, then it rapidly becomes an unacceptable drain on volunteer time to attempt to teach them. That's where you are at. So ask yourself: is editing Wikipedia important enough to you to step up and learn or isn't it? It's on you to decide. 174.254.192.213 (talk) 17:09, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Want to learn to respect neutral policy MrMattHedrich (talk) 17:30, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I did something stupid on presidents death page which I shouldn’t have done by accident. This time I’ll be more careful to respect wiki’s neutral perspective on what the topic is about. MrMattHedrich (talk) 17:42, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wait? What?!

Anyways, I now understand the neutral perspective policy towards a topic, so I’ll be more careful next time and whether or not it may or may not be specific or perfect MrMattHedrich (talk) 17:49, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

One of the problems with your edits (though not the worst problem) is that your grammar and writing style are deficient. Do you have any ideas about how that can be improved? I suggest two possibilities: Seek an experienced mentor who can assist you. Or suggest your edits on the articles' talk pages and wait for others to make suggested changes. If this was only an occasional occurrence, it's not much of a problem for other editors to clean it up. But you make such edits more than occasionally, and it's too much to expect others to clean up after you. This is not a criticism of you intentions, but good intentions are not enough to edit Wikipedia on a frequent basis. Sundayclose (talk) 18:06, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Think carefully or think of another idea. Thanks for the advise. MrMattHedrich (talk) 18:15, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I need to learn and respect Wikipedia´s neutral perspective/point of view, correct me if Iḿ wrong. I did something very stupid on the editing of the List of Presidential deaths that I consider myself deciding to leave. From now on, I´ll respect and learn better on Neutral policy and LEAVE this topic as it is : List of presidents of the United States who died in office. MrMattHedrich (talk) 17:31, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I've looked at this matter a little more carefully. You have at least five times announced your retirement from Wikipedia on this very page, usually in response to criticism of your edits. Some of your other postings on this page sound to me like lashing out against other criticism; both of these things suggest to me that you need to mature some more before participating in this project. You might demonstrate maturity by giving examples of substantive edits you would make, that would show that you understand policies and can respond to other editors, but you indicate that you would only look at spelling and grammar issues; aside from the fact we have many people doing that already, other editors have noted that your skills in those areas are somewhat lacking. For these reasons, I see no benefit to Wikipedia in unblocking you, and as such I am declining your request. I would suggest the standard offer is your most likely pathway back to editing. 331dot (talk) 21:09, 27 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Given the discussion here, I'm afraid it would be inappropriate to unblock you. Your comments are almost incoherent, going far, far beyond poor grammar skills. It's almost impossible to communicate with you. Heck, you can't format basic unblock requests properly. I'm afraid it looks like Wikipedia just isn't the place for you at this time. Perhaps in a few years, one you mature and are better able to communicate, and have a history of constructive edits in another wiki somewhere. I'm afraid there's no chance of an unblock now or in the near future, though. Yamla (talk) 10:10, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

unblock|reason=I couldn’t have done better. I like some help. But I don’t know how to use grammar skills that much. I felt I let them criticize me for what I did, which I felt so ashamed. I thought I was doing a very decent job but they caught me with abusing some topics like The list of President’s death. I thought I decided to quit but you told me it was immature to do. 331dot, I couldn’t have done better of my actions. It was entirely all my fault for getting myself blocked for my immaturity and breaking the rules. I’m just confessing my mistake of my grammar skills that will get myself a consequence of getting blocked from doing edits. I agree to pay attention to Wiki’s neutral perspective on what each topics are about. I will leave them as they are before I made a mistake. I would like another chance and be careful of what I’m doing from NOW on. MrMattHedrich (talk) 23:09, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yamla I just explained what I wanted to improve on my behavior on editing, my immature behavior, and figuring out how to get myself unblocked. Mature and learn better

edit

I just wanted to apologize and confess for my actions of disrupting edits and not understand to accept criticism which made me think to myself that I could have done better and need help. I know I shouldn’t have been immature of understanding criticism and disruptive and unnecessary edits. But I never did and it was kinda my fault for getting myself blocked from editing by ignoring the warnings and guidelines on what it’s like to edit. I couldn’t have done better with accepting critics, mature better, and understand neutral perspective. I know understand that unnecessary edits can get myself blocked from editing, just like what I did on Presidential deaths. From now on, I’ll leave each topics as it is, understand criticism and neutral perspective, not announcing to retire which is kinda annoying, mature better, would like some help with some grammar and help me mature better, which I’m learning the errors of my ways. Let me know. If not, is there another way I can say to testify on behalf of what I’m going to say. MrMattHedrich (talk) 23:44, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have four open unblock requests, you only need one. Please condense them to one request. If you wish to make follow up comments, just make standard, unformatted comments like this. 331dot (talk) 00:14, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I will ONLY use this one I did today which is 23:44 and i already put the comments of my forgiveness MrMattHedrich (talk) 00:17, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear 331dot, as I already put an apology comments that I learned how to mature and not do disruptive edits, as well as learn the errors of my ways: grammar edits, disruptive editing, and immaturity, please tell OhNoIt’sJamie that I’ve learned the errors of my ways of my mistakes (not understanding criticism, learning the consequences of getting blocked, acting immature of retiring) and that I ONLY use the unblocked request on April 7 and nothing else.

Please let me know if there’s anything you could do to help me so I could have more assistance.

Sincerely, MrMattHedrich MrMattHedrich (talk) 20:27, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

OhNoitsJamie Talk please leave me a reminder about what I actually said since I learned the errors of my way. MrMattHedrich (talk) 00:15, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:24, 12 May 2021 (UTC), I will not respond to you again, nevertheless, I refer to you recusing yourself in this request conversion as difficult to handle the conversation to try to get me unblocked. If you’re not able to unblock me, feel free to terminate my account all you want since I just wanted to rehabilitate myself from the disruptive editing. MrMattHedrich (talk) 00:30, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

331dot (talk) 00:14, 8 April 2021 (UTC), since you reminded me that I just need one request to get me unblocked in April, how can I condense these words into one request and and make unformatted comments of the apology words I said? MrMattHedrich (talk) 00:38, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you wish, you can simply rewrite the request you have open, or you can just add comments as you have. 331dot (talk) 08:39, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

331dot Oh thanks, but hold on just a second: How do I rewrite the request I have open? Which request the one I have? MrMattHedrich (talk) 12:14, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the open request you have above, you may change it at any time by simply editing it, however, it's not vital that you do so, as these comments will be seen. 331dot (talk) 12:47, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

331dot, even though you told me that it might not be essential, I was asking what request is from what day? I already posted the comments from April 29 I believe that I’m not bothered into explaining again once and for all. I’m just dashing some specific clarification, so correct me if I’m wrong. I believe it’s the one I have around March 27: I need to learn and respect Wikipedia´s neutral perspective/point of view, correct me if Iḿ wrong. I did something very stupid on the editing of the List of Presidential deaths. From now on, I´ll respect and learn better on Neutral policy and LEAVE this topic as it is. I regret to tell you that I could have matured myself as I should have. It took me some time to mature myself from hypocritically announcing to leave and avoid negative criticism. Now I know why criticism is crucial at times and not act childish all the time. Now I know why I got myself blocked is because of the weird editing which I didn’t stop to think before jumping to conclusion for specific grammar I included on each topic. The grammar skills is sorta my fault for getting me blocked because of the disruptive editing. I know why these stuff will give me a consequence. That is the skill I need to work on. Here is the topic that got myself blocked : List of presidents of the United States who died in office. Is there another way to help me? I know the comments might help. I just need to be patient and figure out, so that’s all I have to say. (talk) 12:55, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

This may be shocking but I have decided to retire and never come back until further notice. Think of my words, who you've taken to your heart, how you'll blame yourself if I retire in sadness as it's taken multitudes of blocked users who retired and left. Think of all the sad users who die, if you don’t unblock me as I learned my lesson and took a break. Now, I will wait patiently until further notice.
