Plan B edit

You're welcome. I only came across them because someone created a category for Category:Plan B albums and, in trying to populate it, realized there is both a British rapper and the reggaeton duo by the same name. So I created separate categories for both artist's and cleaned up some of the album articles while I was at it. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 22:16, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Tha Bulbas edit

A tag has been placed on Tha Bulbas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Help with album articles edit

Yes, I see that Tha Bulbas was deleted. If you feel it was worth saving, you can ask User talk:Anthony Bradbury to return the article to your user space so you can work on it to establish its notability by adding sources. No one can delete it there. After you fix it up, you can see if you can add it back to main space. Also, a speedy deletion tag has been added to Plan B (duo). I don't know if it will get deleted without a discussion first, but getting more sources for that would be helpful, too. They seem to have notability but it is not explained well in the article. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 22:32, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

You should recreate the article in user space at User:Marioluigi98/Tha Bulbas, then when you feel it's ready, ask for help to see if passes notability requirements, and if not, what you need to do, so it can. Then, when you get an OK, you can move it to its own Wiki page. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 21:02, 8 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
The article has been added to your user space (see User:Marioluigi98/Tha Bulbas), where you can work on it without worry of deletion. I've removed the picture, you shouldn't have them on user pages. You will need to find sources for the album AND it must pass the criteria in WP:NALBUMS to get it back as an article in wikipedia. Good luck. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 21:47, 8 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article Interstate 69 The Road To Pleasure Mixtape has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable mixtape, fails WP:NALBUMS. Lacks significant coverage from secondary reliable sources to assert notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — ξxplicit 02:37, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Interstate 69 The Road To Pleasure Mixtape for deletion edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Interstate 69 The Road To Pleasure Mixtape, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Interstate 69 The Road To Pleasure Mixtape until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. — ξxplicit 23:21, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism? edit

I wasn't aware that following WP:CITE was vandalism. I wasn't aware that removing incorrect information from article was vandalism. I thought vandalism was a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of the encyclopedia, and that any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia is not vandalism. /sarcasm The episode list in the Spongebob Season 7 article is wrong on various counts, you've just reintroduced a bunch of misinformation into the article. Everything I had in there was correct. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:11, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've started putting in sources for episode summaries, with the correct order and titles. If you want to help, the sources for each episode contain summaries, the episode production code, air date, and credits. If you revert to the old version again, especially if you call it vandalism and do not engage in any discussion, and I will no longer assume good faith. November 2011 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 19:35, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Plan B (duo), may fail our non-free image policy. Disambiguation link notification for June 28 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Puerto Rican slang words and phrases, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Exclamation and Ruckus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Mi Trayectoria (Don Chezina album) edit

The article Mi Trayectoria (Don Chezina album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NALBUMS

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 03:44, 8 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Mi Trayectoria Don Chezina.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

October 2015 edit

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to The Pirate Bay. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Also please do not re-introduce TOR links. We just finished a major RfC with consensus for only one link. - MrX 02:40, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Hello, Marioluigi98

I see that you have been previously warned for both switching date styles (such as in Google Play and WinRAR) and performing edits the end result of which has no effect on the article (such as Office Online and Groove Music) and is merely nuisance.

Please stop doing all these. In the past, people have been blocked for such edits, especially in large scales. Try finding something to do that actually benefits someone.

Best regards,

CERN edit

2 days ago an article was published on CERN about a "father" disappearing. I look up CERN and obviously get on Wikipedia. I click on CERN and it says edited 2 days ago. You also seem to edit alot of material. Is this a coincidence? Or are you hiding something? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edgar.14.e (talkcontribs) 21:34, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I don't think these events have anything to do with each other, or that Marioluigi98 is hiding anything. When Marioluigi98 edited the Wikipedia article about CERN, he only added a {{Start date and age}} template to it. You can see Marioluigi98's edit here. --Dodi 8238 (talk) 14:58, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Adding age to companies edit

Hi Marioluigi, I noticed you've added an age calculator to many company pages. While age is useful for pages about people, the age of companies is much less important and much easier calculated. See Template:Infobox_company. Kindly revert your edits. JudgeGregg (talk) 20:37, 20 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Adding to JudgeGregg's comment: The preferred template to use in the "founded" parameter of {{Infobox company}} is indeed {{Start date}}, not {{Start date and age}}. The "Start date and age" template can, however, be used in some other Infobox templates. An example is the "released" parameter of {{Infobox software}}. If you do not want to revert your own edits, it would at least be helpful if you could engage in this discussion so that we could try to find a consensus. --Dodi 8238 (talk) 22:08, 20 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Codename Lisa, JudgeGregg, Dodi 8238, and Ianmacm: JudgeGregg, if you're looking for consensus from this guy, you're barking up the wrong tree. He's been on this robotically unilateral mission forever, regardless of reverts and of all the demands and pleas. Just look at this Talk page history about this and countless other issues. The only verbal output I've ever seen from this person was when they spammed some article talk pages saying that everyone should have a party on Mario's birthday or something insane like that. This {{start date and age}} issue alone definitely qualifies as WP:TENDENTIOUS and disruptive, regardless of intentions. The correct, and only effective, course of action, is to notify an administrator. — Smuckola(talk) 09:30, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Smuckola:. Thanks for the assist! Looks like this matter is now resolved completely. I've got one question left though: how do you actually notify an administrator? How did Spike Wilbury (thanks, Spike!) find out about the issue with our friend Mario? JudgeGregg (talk) 11:16, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
@JudgeGregg: The Spike is omnipresent, all seeing, all knowing, all wise. Typically, Wikipedians just suffer abuse because filing a report at WP:AIV is too arduous. But you can always try. I don't see how it's possible for this to be fully resolved because Marioluigi98 molested so many articles and people just gave up at dealing with him. — Smuckola(talk) 11:26, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Marioluigi98, I'm going to have to insist that you begin discussing your edits, particularly those in contention in this thread. You have been asked by multiple editors not to use {{Start date and age}} and been given good reasons not to, yet you continue to make the changes and ignore other editors. Wikipedia is a collaborative environment and discussing your edits when requested is a requirement. If you continue to make these edits, I will have to block you until you discuss and resolve the matter with your fellow editors. I do not want to have to take that action. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 23:32, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Marioluigi98, additionally, it's your responsibility to learn from what people have been telling you in discerning the individual appropriateness of your indiscriminate mass edit machine, and then undo the damage you've done. — Smuckola(talk) 23:35, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. November 2015 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Spike Wilbury (talk) 03:23, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
As I noted above, I am issuing this block because you continue to make edits other users find disruptive and you refuse to discuss the issue. This block is indefinite, but any admin can lift it if they feel satisfied that you have discussed this issue with your fellow editors and come to an understanding about how to behave going forward. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 03:25, 25 November 2015 (UTC)aReply
Oh, he'd better do one hell of a cooperation! Fleet Command (talk) 04:16, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Codename Lisa, JudgeGregg, Dodi 8238, IanmacmYeah, AdamDeanHall, and FleetCommand: If I may, I would like to suggest that the unblock requirement be unprecedented in my personal experience of CVU and Wikipedia in general, and what I think should be standard practice. The offending user's unblock request should include (amongst whatever else) definitive proof that they know how to personally review and selectively revert all of their offending edits, with examples, and should be put on probation to immediately comply. That's my not-so-humble opinion. Even just this discussion alone has wasted inordinate amounts of countless people's time, let alone having anyone ever review the history. There's my suggestion. — Smuckola(talk) 07:36, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I wish to be unblocked. After doing a little research on the start date and age template page, I believe that companies are considered (entities) as it states, "The Start date and age template displays the date that an event or entity started or was created," so that means adding the Start date and age template wasn't vandalism (to my edits on companies and events, at least), but necessary for articles relating to companies, events and such. Marioluigi98 (talk) 11:27, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Stating why you believe that you are correct does not address the reason for your block. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:35, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Marioluigi98, you should read the reason for your block again. It is general disruptive editing. I can name multiple instances:
  • Not conversing with your fellow editors, let alone understanding their concern and doing a good-faith attempt to address it
  • Violating consensus in hundreds of instances
  • Performing thousands of changes that have no effect, like [1] and [2], even after you are told that
  • Switching date styles even after you are told not to, like [3], [4], [5] and [6].
  • Repeated gross and overbearing disregard for Wikipedia:Copyrights laws and Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. One instance of this is sometimes enough for block. (See other talk page messages for instances.)
To be unblocked, you must demonstrate that you understand these, be able to tell what you did wrong in the past and promise never do them again.
Fleet Command (talk) 16:05, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
I can't take you seriously after you said, "Oh, he'd better do one hell of a cooperation!" from an earlier comment, as if you were just waiting to unleash that one out. However, I understand my wrong doings, Fleet Command. But if I may, where exactly am I suppose to write all that I did wrong and not do it again exactly? Or do I continue to writing so in the unblock box? --Marioluigi98 (talk) 20:52, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hello. If you had written your message without "I can't take you seriously [...]", it might have been enough as a promise and you might have been editing right now. But when you write that, it is clear that you still do not understand at all! In Wikipedia, it is extremely difficult to receive an indefinite block without vandalizing and without receiving a short-term block first! Yet you did.
If you are game, very well: Please elucidate on item #5, "Repeated gross and overbearing disregard for Wikipedia:Copyrights laws and Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria." Explain to us which of your actions in the past is counted as disregard for copyright and NFCC; then tell us what would you do in the future instead.
Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 05:38, 1 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
So I guess I'm not completely guilty after all, since AdamDeanHall's proposal to get rid of the start date and age template failed because he didn't realize that the {Start date and age} template is only used for events & entities and {Birth date and age} template is for biographies, but thought that the {Start date and age} template is for biographies when it wasn't. Marioluigi98 (talk) 01:32, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
I would almost like to believe that you know that your statement is nonsense but that you just don't care; of course you are completely guilty for your own actions alone. There is no legitimate competition to degrade an encyclopedia lor its community . WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTSSmuckola(talk) 01:58, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
But who lost the proposal again? Oh that's right, AdamDeanHall did!!! #feelthebern Marioluigi98 (talk) 15:50, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
