March 2019 edit

I see you removed the distinction between the Android and iOS version (which are kind of native / required to use Signal at all) and the Desktop versions on Linux, MacOS, and Windows. In my opinion the original sentence was better because it implicitly indicated these differences. Jan Vlug (talk) 08:00, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I believe you are referring to this edit that was made by Bjornte (talk · contribs)? I agree with you that the lead section should somehow explain that Signal is primarily a mobile app, but I'm not entirely sure if the previous wording was adequate for this purpose: I think the previous wording could be interpreted in the same way as the current one by Bjornte. --Dodi 8238 (talk) 09:56, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Standard YouTube License listed at Redirects for discussion edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Standard YouTube License. Since you had some involvement with the Standard YouTube License redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 14:14, 20 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Re: our edits on the Riot.im page edit

I get what you and your links mean about forums. However i could not find a better source talking about the multi user call encryption rumor. It is the kind of thing that is important for ppl to consider who want to use riot.

What do wiki editors do in these kind of cases?--Disoff (talk) 13:21, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Disoff! I believe you are referring to this edit. I think we should wait until a more reliable source shows up. I would suggest starting a discussion about this topic on the article's talk page (Talk:Riot.im) so that other editors with an interest in the subject can help keep an eye out for a more reliable source that could help get the information included in the article. --Dodi 8238 (talk) 21:44, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
