Proposed deletion of Hafdis Renötudottir edit

The article Hafdis Renötudottir has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. - MrX 13:08, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Chris Jørgensen edit

The article Chris Jørgensen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of independent notability; no SIGCOV.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom 2017 election voter message edit

Hello, Magn9359. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Hello, Magn9359. I have contacted you several times before, but you have not responded. It is vital that all articles have clear sources, and the WP:BURDEN is on the creator to add them. As you will see from the messages above, there have been serious issues with many of your articles lacking sources. Sources are preferably WP:INLINECITED.

Some of your articles have an 'External links' section - this means 'suggestions for further reading' - did you actually mean that those were your sources? Please see WP:V plus the other pages I've linked to, and add your sources to the articles I've contacted you about and Søren Haagen. If you have any questions, please ping or message me. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 20:50, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Can you please respond to the above? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 17:03, 22 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Can you please respond to the above? Articles in this situation include Søren Haagen, Vendsyssel Håndbold, AGF Håndbold and Roskilde Håndbold. Please be aware that WP:Communication is required. Boleyn (talk) 20:25, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of CBF Málaga Costa del Sol edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CBF Málaga Costa del Sol requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Regarding Speedy Deletion

Hello, Magn9359. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created , CBF Málaga Costa del Sol, has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.

Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.

Wikipedia is not a webhost. You may wish to consider alternative outlets.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process.

You can make test edits in your sandbox.

You may find this tool useful for finding sources: Google custom search

Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there. Don't feel discouraged. My first attempts at creating articles were deleted too.
