Orphaned non-free media (File:Eve's single cover.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Eve's single cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:18, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Fameworld Top 40 edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fameworld Top 40 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 00:44, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Take a Picture single cover.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Take a Picture single cover.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Disambiguation link notification for May 28 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Club Remixes (Selena Gomez & the Scene album), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tim James and When the Sun Goes Down (album) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Unsourced data again edit

This edit once again added unsourced (and false) data to an article. Position 103 does not exist on the Billboard Hot 100. Presuming that you meant "position 3 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100", that is not to be listed that way (see WP:Record charts#Billboard charts). If I dig around for a source myself, I can find http://www.billboard.com/artist/278617/selena-gomez/chart?f=344 listing it as #3 on the Bubbling Under chart, so I do see that your addition wasn't intended as vandalism. It was, however, added without a source. If you persist in adding chart positions without providing sources, I will block you from editing.—Kww(talk) 19:15, 2 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

October 2015 edit

Hello, I'm Iknow23. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Selena Gomez discography, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

In Discography tables, singles, albums articles, etc...Verifiable sources MUST be visible on the article page. "Cite your sources: <ref></ref>". Thus, don't forget to provide an INDIVIDUAL source if the column header or template source doesn't support your update.
Iknow23 (talk) 23:44, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Cool about putting the sources in the header. I personally like them to "stick-out" so that they can be reviewed for later deletion when made unnecessary by the column header source update (discography articles) or template-linked source updates (article Charts sections, France, US Billboard for example). In other words, in many cases they are only needed temporarily and soon wouldn't be needed in the column header or Charts section at all. Peace.—Iknow23 (talk) 02:11, 20 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Iknow23. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Revival (Selena Gomez album) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

Please do not remove sources.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Roy Blair (musician) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Roy Blair (musician), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
