"Top of the World" (Kimbra song)Edit

Hi Erpert - your removal of the issues tags and edit summary make no sense. Nobody said the song had to chart on a US chart to be notable... the point is that the link you provided for the NZ chart doesn't show this song charting there either. Maybe you have the link wrong, so you should correct it, because I tried looking for the song and couldn't find it. And even if it did reach no. 1 on the NZ only chart, that still doesn't mean it passes WP:NSONG. Richard3120 (talk) 22:57, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

It doesn't? Did you read the very first point in WP:NSONG? Erpert blah, blah, blah... 23:05, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
No, it doesn't... it is only an indication that it may be notable. If there is nothing more than a chart position and no substantial prose, then this won't automatically be considered notable. And as I have stated above, (a) this particular chart may not be a significant national chart, and (b) the citation you have added shows no evidence that this song charted on that chart anyway. You can interpret NSONG in any way you want, but that doesn't change what it says. If you feel the need to continue this discussion, please continue it on the article's talk page. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 23:34, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
